Even though he knew he was protected by a magical barrier, Tony was still somewhat afraid.
He knew Magic Armor Mark I's capabilities better than anyone. Even Obadiah, who couldn't use magic, could unleash tremendous power with it.
That was why Obadiah had defeated him so easily.
Tony was worried. Could this magical barrier really withstand Magic Armor Mark I's full-power attack?
The next moment, the energy beam struck the transparent magical barrier.
To Tony and Obadiah's horror, the energy ray that could easily destroy an entire house had no effect whatsoever when it hit the transparent barrier. It could only produce faint, barely visible ripples across its surface.
Then, a teasing voice rang out above their heads. "Can little Tony still get up? Looks like he can't."
Seeing Harry riding a Flying Broomstick, Tony finally relaxed completely. "Harry, thank you. You saved me again. I owe you another one."
"Then hurry up and make me a new Magic Armor. It looks pretty good." Harry examined the Magic Armor. "Very cool. I'm starting to like it."
"Of course, provided there's enough Uru Metal."
Watching the two converse as if no one else were there, treating him like thin air, Obadiah was furious.
But when he noticed Harry flying through the air on a broomstick, Obadiah realized that Harry was no ordinary person. Suppressing his impatience, he tried to win him over.
"Mr. Potter, you've truly surprised me. I never expected you to be a wizard.
"You're clearly capable. Why make an enemy of me? Compared to Tony, I can give you much more!
"As long as you leave now and stay out of my private grudge with Tony, I'll transfer 10% of the shares to you afterward!"
"10% of the shares?" Harry lowered his head in thought. Just as Obadiah thought he had it in the bag, Harry suddenly said disdainfully, "Who do you think you're looking down on?"
Obadiah: "???"
Harry waved his wand and pointed it at a piece of metal debris.
Obadiah began questioning his life when that metal fragment turned into a fist-sized lump of gold!
Harry spread his hands. "Mr. Obadiah, I don't need that much wealth, nor do I think what you can offer would be more than what Tony can give me.
"With your mediocre magical aptitude, I can't gain any magical experience. With an IQ like that of a stupid pig, you can't improve and upgrade the Magic Armor either. And the wealth you're most proud of is within my reach whenever I want it. So you have absolutely no value to me."
Obadiah's expression instantly darkened. When had someone of his status ever been mocked so brazenly?
"Then die!"
Obadiah instantly aimed his Repulsor Ray at Harry. The fully charged weapon fired a dazzling high-energy beam at him.
Yet not only did the energy ray fail to harm Harry, it plunged into a suddenly appearing ring of light, then emerged behind Obadiah and struck him, blasting him into the wall.
Obadiah struggled out of the rubble and asked in shock, "What was that just now?"
Naturally, Harry had no intention of explaining. A magical formation swept across his wand, and brilliant golden light wrapped around it, forming a sharp longsword.
Sword of Vishanti!
Enhanced by the wand, the Sword of Vishanti Harry cast was a full two meters long.
The Sword of Vishanti cleaved apart one high-energy beam after another, scattering sparks of energy that burst like fireworks.
"Damn it!" Seeing his high-energy beams blocked so easily, Obadiah felt fear. What stood before him was a field he did not understand.
He recalled that Tony had seemed to be researching magic some time ago. He had thought Tony had gone insane.
Could magic really exist?
Runic Glyphs and the Arc Reactor supplied power to the chest-mounted energy cannon, and blazing high-energy rays erupted forth.
Obadiah shouted with a show of bravado, "Fuck! How could magic possibly exist? It's just more advanced technology!"
Facing the high-energy beam at the pinnacle of modern Earth technology, Harry pointed his wand at Obadiah and met his attack head-on.
"Avada Kedavra!"
A glowing green ray capable of disintegrating everything struck the high-energy beam.
The ray powerful enough to pierce through a skyscraper was directly disintegrated before it could unleash its might.
The point where glowing green and blazing white met rapidly advanced toward Obadiah.
"No, no, no! How is this possible? I don't believe it!" The sight before him drove Obadiah completely mad. Fear gripped him like a damp, sticky swamp and dragged him down into it. "How can magic possibly exist in this world?"
But no matter how much he refused to believe it, the facts were right before him. He could only rage helplessly, unable to do anything.
Ignoring this foolish Muggle who had stood at the pinnacle of society mere hours ago, Harry asked Tony, "What should we do with him?"
Obadiah's relationship with Tony was complicated, after all. Harry believed Tony should decide his ultimate fate.
Tony clenched his fists, looked at Obadiah in confusion for a moment, then sighed. "Let him spend the rest of his life in prison."
Harry nodded and vanished from where he stood, appearing directly in front of Obadiah.
Magic power dyed his skin with a layer of gold, and his powerful physique allowed him to slash out a dazzling golden arc.
Riiip!
The sound of tearing metal rang out. The high-strength Uru Metal was easily cut apart by the Sword of Vishanti, leaving a massive sword mark across the center of the Magic Armor that had only recently been assembled.
"No!" Obadiah tried to struggle, but Harry merely snapped his fingers, and powerful telekinesis completely bound him in place, leaving him unable to move.
Harry pointed his wand at Obadiah. His telekinesis seized the cracks in the Magic Armor, and the immense force tore it apart, exposing Obadiah's bleeding face.
Realizing the situation was hopeless, Obadiah completely revealed his cowardly nature. "No, no, no! Spare me, let me go! I'll give you all my shares, all my shares!"
Harry shook his head. "You foolish bald Muggle. I already told you, wealth holds no attraction for me. It merely makes my life more convenient."
Another snap rang out. A portal opened beneath Obadiah's feet, while its other end appeared overhead.
Obadiah kept falling, trapped in an endless loop.
Harry even thoughtfully sealed his mouth to keep his screams from disturbing the neighbors.
Tony struggled to his feet. With every step he took, a metal part fell from his body.
He slowly walked up to Obadiah and stopped, his gaze fixed on the other man's face, his expression complicated.
"When I was little, he cared for me in every possible way. We were once as close as family. We never should have ended up at each other's throats."
Hearing such sincere and moving words, Harry felt a deep sense of resonance. He nodded slightly and sighed. "What a pity about that Magic Armor."
Tony: "..."
