Ron's eyes widened in astonishment. "You're going out at night? Filch will catch you and make you scrub windows as punishment!"
Harry pulled out his wand and gave it a light wave. "I can use the Disillusionment Charm to avoid Filch. And don't forget, I can lend spells. I'm sure Filch won't be able to resist the temptation of casting magic!"
Ron's eyes lit up. Forgetting his argument with Dean, he said, "I'm going with you."
He desperately wanted to see what happened next.
Harry refused without hesitation. He wasn't going out for fun. "No. You don't know the Disillusionment Charm, and I can't make you invisible with me."
Ron was deeply disappointed. "All right, then."
The other three roommates were the same. From the looks on their faces, if Harry had agreed to let Ron come along, they would have followed without hesitation.
Well, perhaps Neville was the exception.
He was a little lion too, but he had Lu Mingfei in his eyes.
Late at night, the Gryffindor Common Room was completely silent. Moonlight streamed through the stained-glass windows, scattering mottled patches of light across the floor.
Harry drew his wand and cast the Disillusionment Charm and the Muffliato Charm on himself before heading toward the entrance of the common room.
When he reached the common room's door, Harry stopped.
Ahead was the Fat Lady's portrait. If he left through the main entrance, the Fat Lady would definitely notice him. He had another method.
He lightly tapped the air with his wand. A faint sound of shattering glass rang out, and Harry stepped through the broken doorway into the Mirror Dimension.
Nothing in the Mirror Dimension could affect reality. Moreover, if one's cultivation reached a profound level, one could manipulate everything within the Mirror Dimension to a certain extent.
