High above the massive crater, Yan Qingshan guided the Two-headed Fire Spirit Snake closer. The pit in his sight was extremely deep, a dark abyss with no visible bottom, while a thin layer of ice spread around its edges.
"Crimson Serpent, be careful. Go higher!"
Yan Qingshan noticed a faint, eerie red glow within the dark hollow and quickly called for Crimson Serpent to rise further.
Yan Qingshan frowned as he stared into the pit. Relying on his powerful Soul Perception, he could vaguely sense that the Snow Demon Heavenly Ape had not simply fallen.
"It's already awakened its berserk bloodline. Then we'll use tactic two—kite it!!!"
Yan Qingshan's eyes narrowed as he directed the Two-headed Fire Spirit Snake to change tactics. Two fire pillars, somewhat smaller than before, blasted into the crater once more, while the snake's Flame Wings beat rapidly and carried it swiftly upward.
Flames filled the crater again, but this time, they burned only briefly before being broken apart by an increasingly intense red glow.
The eerie red light within the crater grew ever brighter, crimson as fresh blood. Waves of blood-red radiance surged outward, and even the Two-headed Fire Spirit Snake's flames could not suppress it.
"Roar~~~"
An enraged voice emerged amid the furious roar, followed by the sound of ice fragments shattering. A tremendously blurred red streak shot forth. "Little bug, big long snake, you've angered me."
The Snow Demon Heavenly Ape that appeared again had undergone a tremendous surge in aura, and its speed was terrifyingly fast. If Yan Qingshan had not made Crimson Serpent ascend beforehand, they would likely have already been struck by its attack.
