Zhongli identifies Mo Yuqing’s jade pendant as a family heirloom called a God's Eye after its power manifests as a meteor strike. Its energy is diminished following that use 16.

In this world, Zhongli can create Geo God's Eyes because he possesses complete Geo authority, though he initially cannot make versions of other elements. He describes each God's Eye as a low-cost key that unlocks the user’s ability to control Geo Elemental Power 45.

God's Eyes are also contracts. They grant power in exchange for the holder’s conviction and wish; if an Original God loses their God's Eye, they lose both their power and wish and become a “walking corpse” 45. Zhongli benefits from their distribution because more Geo users strengthen Geo resonance and, in turn, his own power 45.

Wish Resonance

A God's Eye is activated by a strong, pure wish and the appropriate elemental talent. It is not dependent on faith in the Geo Archon 52 56.

• An activated God's Eye turns its holder into an Original God, a person qualified to become a god 25.
• Stronger and purer wishes produce greater enhancement and improve the user's ability to obtain partial elemental authority 249.
