Zhongli explored the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, accepted the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings’ powers, and helped Du Gu Bo cultivate Grass Elemental Power. At Notting City Junior Soul Master Academy, Du Gu Bo created a Green Soul Ring for Tang San, whose changed Martial Soul became the Azure God Vine.

• BiBi Dong refused the Rakshasa God’s inheritance, used Geo Elemental Power to strengthen herself, and scared him away by inventing tales of the Geo Archon’s power.
• Zhongli and Aserine entered Sunset Forest, where Aserine defeated Du Gu Bo before Zhongli healed him and accepted his allegiance.
• Zhongli descended beneath the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, accepted the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings’ remaining powers, and promised to bury them and care for an unhatched egg.
• Aserine and Du Gu Bo cultivated at the well while Zhongli tried and failed to develop Grass Elemental Power, then took them to Notting City to investigate A Yin’s remains and Tang Hao.
• At Notting City Junior Soul Master Academy, Zhongli explained that Spirit Rings formed from will and energy, and Du Gu Bo condensed a Green Soul Ring for Tang San.
• Tang San absorbed the Green Soul Ring, transformed his Blue Silver Grass into the Azure God Vine, and rose from level ten to level twenty in Soul Power.
• Zhongli told Yu Xiaogang how he could improve through daily training, then Du Gu Bo led Tang San to a Training Ground to test his Binding skill.

Zhongli expanded his power by creating God's Eyes and raising Lonely Cloud Peak into a dangerous trial ground, while Mo Yuqing grew stronger under Narukami's training. After Zhongli defeated the Rakshasa God with the Silver Dragon King, he left an Ice Evil Eye for BiBi Dong to claim.

• Aserine taught Tang San to strengthen his Soul Skills through personal abilities, and Zhongli gave him a Grass Element God's Eye to accelerate his cultivation.
• Tang San reunited with Xiao Wu, and Zhongli and Du Gu Bo served her rabbit dishes and potent herbs before Tang San and Xiao Wu cultivated the meal's energy.
• Zhongli flew to Kela City and later returned to Lonely Cloud Peak, where its surging Geo Elemental Power overwhelmed him and he emerged as a giant Divine Dragon.
• Zhongli created God's Eyes across the mountains and world, then gave Mo Yuqing new Spirit Rings that made her a Soul King and raised her Soul Power to level sixty-four.
• Narukami trained Mo Yuqing in Lightning God Space, where they fought with Mo Yuqing's new elemental skills and Narukami's defenses.
• Zhongli confronted Di Tian, revealed his origins, and gave him God's Eyes for himself and the Silver Dragon King before joining her to attack the Rakshasa God.
• Zhongli and the Silver Dragon King apparently killed the Rakshasa God, and Zhongli gained part of his authority and left an Ice Evil Eye for BiBi Dong to claim.

Zhongli killed the Earth God, gained his divine power, and joined Narukami in confronting the God of Destruction and the Goddess of Life. As the Abyss invasion drew nearer, Zhongli reached Jialing Pass, reunited with Aserine, and took Gu Yue Na along, while Mo Yuqing formed a team to explore Lonely Cloud Peak.

• Narukami reshaped a divine mountain into Thunder God Mountain, then confronted the Elephant Armor Sect over its mistreatment of Boss Li and had Mo Yuqing defeat Hu Yanzhen in Lightning God Space.
• The system warned Zhongli that an Abyss invasion would begin in three months, and Zhongli strengthened Aserine by forging her Redhorn weapon and five growing Artifacts.
• Zhongli gave Liu Yan a Red God's Eye, then traveled with Aserine toward the Silver Dragon King while warning her that Nuo Masks drew on dangerous Abyssal power.
• Aserine fused her Eighth Soul Ring into herself and collapsed, while Zhongli carried her to an inn at Jialing Pass and protected her as she recovered.
• The Earth God ambushed Zhongli, but Zhongli dropped Lonely Cloud Peak on him, killed him, absorbed his godhood, and fused the mountain with Vortex Vanquisher.
• The God of Destruction and the Goddess of Life confronted Zhongli, and Narukami used Zhongli's mask and spear to badly injure the God of Destruction before the Goddess of Life carried him back to the God Realm.
• Zhongli met Gu Yue Na, rebuilt Jialing Pass after Lonely Cloud Peak's impact, reunited with Aserine, and captured a White Tiger to serve as their mount.

In Kela City, Zhongli’s growing renown drew faith and the Angel God’s attention as Hua Banhao entered a Soul Master competition.

• Mo Yuqing revealed her six unusual Spirit Rings, and Hua Banhao resolved to surpass her as the group set out for Ice God Mountain.
• Hua Banhao found a God's Eye beneath the snow, and Luo Xueming used it to strengthen her cultivation and ease her frostbite.
• Du Gu Bo defeated Tang Hao without Soul Skills, then confronted him about abandoning Tang San and urged Tang San to choose his own path.
• Zhongli helped Gu Yue Na absorb the Wind Dragon King’s authority, then subdued her when she attacked him over the legacy.
