Arc 13The Sand War and Kirigakure

Tang Ping took advantage of Konoha’s Nine-Tails crisis to strengthen Tenshukaku, then led its forces through a war with Sunagakure and secured a profitable agreement. As Danzo’s actions pushed Konoha clans toward Tenshukaku, Tang Ping left for Kirigakure to maneuver around Pakura and recruit Kisame.

  • Tang Ping took over Minato Namikaze’s sealing work, sealed half of the Yang Nine Tails into Naruto, and secretly took the newborn Naruko away with Kushina Uzumaki.

  • Tang Ping recruited Kisame as an Akatsuki spy after revealing the Otsutsuki Clan’s manipulation of the ninja world.

Tang Ping turned the nobles’ assassination plot into a conflict with the Land of Fire Daimyo, while Tenshukaku prepared for and fought the allied forces. Uchiha Mei and Hinata Cang Yue faced powerful opponents, and Tang Ping entered Sage Mode to free Cang Yue from Planetary Devastation.

  • Orochimaru escaped Jiraiya, and Tang Ping returned to Konoha before secretly agreeing to take Sasuke as his disciple and drawing Danzo’s attention to Tenshukaku.
  • Tang Ping confronted the nobles’ Joint Mission at Tenshukaku, where an explosion destroyed the city’s central buildings and he accused the envoys of trying to assassinate him.

Tang Ping expanded Tenshukaku’s influence through victories, alliances, and Konoha’s food crisis, while helping the Aburame Clan escape Root. The arc ended with a Cloud Ninja kidnapping staged as a diplomatic crisis and Konoha struggling to answer both Kumogakure and the Hyuga Clan.

  • Tang Ping’s uranium spear destroyed the giant stone sphere and shattered several of Pain’s bodies, while Hinata Cang Yue survived and helped drive back Obito and the remaining enemies.
  • Uchiha Mei’s forces routed Chiki Maru’s army, and Tang Ping arranged a ransom before Tenshukaku collected spoils and withdrew.
