Tang Ping repelled the Cloud Ninja, conquered Kirigakure, and strengthened Tenshukaku with airship technology while maneuvering against Konoha and its leaders. He then went to claim the Star, where Hinata Cang Yue confronted Itachi and was trapped by his technique.

  • Tang Ping turned the Cloud Ninja’s invasion back with a flood and brought the surviving Konoha forces home, where Hyuga Hiashi’s stolen corpse and Shinnosuke’s death had left a crisis behind.

Arc 17The Cloud Ninja War

Tang Ping led Konoha’s forces against the Cloud Ninja invasion while the Byakugan Wolf disrupted the village’s command. After using a flood to turn the battle, he brought the survivors back to Konoha, where a new problem awaited them.

  • Hyuga Hiashi and the Main Family Elders faced village rumors and pressure over the Cloud Ninja envoy crisis, while Tang Ping watched Naruto at Ichiraku Ramen and called him the coming New Era’s protagonist.
  • Tang Ping confronted the Cloud Ninja at the embassy, but Madara Uchiha later ambushed their delegation and stole Hyuga Hiashi’s corpse, bringing Konoha and Kumogakure closer to war.

Arc 18The Kirigakure Counterattack

Tang Ping hunted down Otsutsuki Naoto, helping Hinata Cang Yue awaken her Tenseigan, then exposed the Fourth Mizukage as Obito’s puppet and exploited Kirigakure’s ensuing chaos. Tenshukaku launched its counterattack, where its Flying Corps devastated Kirigakure’s forces and drove their fleet into retreat.

  • Tang Ping, Uchiha Mei, and Hinata Cang Yue tracked down Otsutsuki Naoto, and Tang Ping killed him with a Sage Art attack that also destroyed the Hamura statue.
  • Tang Ping extracted Naoto’s bloodline and made a potion that awakened Hinata Cang Yue’s Tenseigan, then traveled with her to the Land of Water.

Arc 19The Fall of Kirigakure

Tang Ping conquered Kirigakure and began bringing it under Tenshukaku’s control, while tensions with Konoha sharpened over aircraft, secret techniques, and Shisui’s Kotoamatsukami. The arc left Tang Ping anticipating a struggle over Shisui and Konoha’s leadership.

  • Tang Ping defeated Nagai Takaomi’s Kirigakure fleet and secured Nagai’s surrender, then sailed with his forces to attack Kirigakure.
  • Tang Ping’s Flying Corps bombed Kirigakure, and the Blazing Sun smashed through its eastern defenses as Tenshukaku’s forces defeated the village’s ninja.

Arc 20The Airship and the Star

Tang Ping stole Shisui’s Mangekyo, manipulated Orochimaru into becoming an ally, and used their research to develop airships for Tenshukaku. As the villages negotiated for airships and Black Oil, Tang Ping moved to claim the Star, where Hinata Cang Yue faced Itachi.

  • Tang Ping and his companions witnessed Danzo steal Shisui’s right eye, then retrieved his remaining eye after Shisui entrusted it to a crow and died at the waterfall.
  • Tang Ping took Shisui’s right Mangekyo from Danzo and used Uchiha Mei’s Kotoamatsukami and his Heavenly Cursed Seal to make Orochimaru believe they were close allies.
  • Orochimaru developed a power station and an airship prototype, and Tang Ping brought the airship to Tenshukaku as rival factions began investigating it.
