Arc 21The Uchiha Exodus

Tang Ping and his allies secured the Star, built Tenshukaku’s cultivation plans, and secretly arranged an escape for some of Konoha’s Uchiha. As Itachi massacred the clan, Fugaku’s staged rampage drew Konoha’s forces into battle, leaving his final strike aimed at a shocking target.

  • Hinata Cang Yue defeated Itachi’s genjutsu and destroyed Star Ninja Village, while Tang Ping learned Natsuhi had taken the Star and retrieved it from her.

Arc 22The Sage Body Awakens

Tang Ping helped the Uchiha refugees escape and backed Terumi Mei as she crushed Kirigakure’s rebellion, then entered dormancy to balance Natural Energy with Faith Energy. He awoke years later with a Sage Body and returned to a greatly expanded Tenshukaku, where Hinata Cang Yue recognized him.

  • Uchiha Fugaku’s death and the destruction of the Shimura Clan Shrine exposed the massacre, while Hiruzen Sarutobi and Danzo pursued the missing Uchiha refugees.
  • Tang Ping’s group intervened when Danzo’s forces attacked the refugees, and they fought Hiruzen Sarutobi, Jiraiya, and Konoha’s forces until Hinata Cang Yue’s Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion cut down the summoned toads.

Arc 23The Waves and the Exams

Tang Ping sent an exchange team to Konoha, where he stole the Flying Thunder God Technique and helped Naruko and Karin repel Root operatives during the Land of Waves mission. Terumi Mei took control of the Land of Waves, and the arc ended with Tenshukaku’s airships arriving near Konoha as the Joint Chunin Exams approached.

  • Tang Ping enrolled in Konoha’s Ninja School with Izumi, Naruko, and Karin, where he met Naruto and secretly copied Minato Namikaze’s Flying Thunder God Technique from the Book of Sealing.
  • Tang Ping and the exchange team joined Kakashi’s Team 7 for Tazuna’s mission to the Land of Waves, while Danzo secretly sent Root operatives after them.

Arc 24The Mount Myōboku Invasion

Tang Ping helped drive back the Konoha Crush and then led Tenshukaku’s forces in an assault on Mount Myōboku. The aerial bombardment and ground battle began, and Tang Ping entered the Great Toad Sage’s temple while Hinata Cang Yue vanished from sight.

  • Uchiha Mei negotiated Tenshukaku’s mission-sharing arrangement with Konoha, while Tang Ping began a secret plan to infiltrate Mount Myōboku using Guren hidden inside Gamabunta.
