Judgment... and slaughter?

Hearing the Arbiter's voice, Sun seemed to have received some definitive answer and burst into laughter.

"Hahahahaha! I knew it! I never liked the look of you."

"So you're Slaughter's dog..."

That was right. Player "Tu Shan" had been chosen by Slaughter in the previous God's Chosen game.

As Slaughter's agent, Tu Shan knew little of anything. He had merely been delighted to finally break free from the shackles of being "human" and ascend to a higher form of existence.

But Sun was different. He had directly devoured that wretched divine power of Judgment!

So, in a sense, he was the new Judgment. In fact, War could find him at any time.

But War's target had already been fixed on Lu Ce, so it paid him no attention.

However, upon gaining Judgment's power, Sun had also received a great deal of "knowledge"—or rather, information.

He knew that Judgment was among the weakest tier of gods, a deity created when War split off a portion of its own power and authority.

Incidentally, when War had thrown out Judgment's power back then, it had slipped in a little something extra.

Just as it had once told Lu Ce, "He will be your trial."

It had added quite a bit of "malice toward Sin" to that power.

Its intention had been to make whoever obtained that power naturally become Sin's enemy.

But Sun already saw the whole world as his enemy, while Sin had always been the opponent he imagined fighting. So that influence was practically nonexistent for him.

Sun only knew that his current level of life had already reached another tier. He simply had not fully obtained some of his powers yet and needed to digest them through battle.
