During the flight, everyone gathered around the Recording Crystal, repeatedly watching the footage Ang had brought back from the Abyssal Prison.

Those oppressive, brutal, desolate scenes lingered in their minds for a long time.

"Ang, you said... the Abyssal Prison is an endlessly stretching world with no boundaries?" Dana asked as she stared at the footage, disbelief coloring her voice.

"That's what the Demons told me." Ang sat against the cabin wall, answering calmly.

"You can communicate with them? How did you manage that?" Dana's eyes lit up, clearly fascinated by the subject.

Ang nodded, then opened his mouth and spoke several low, muttering phrases.

The sounds seemed to roll around in his throat, with strange rhythms and drawn-out endings that sent chills down everyone's spines.

Silence fell over the cabin. Everyone looked at one another in bewilderment.

"That was the Demon language." Ang chuckled. "Could you understand what I said?"

"Gods... that sounded bizarre." A young mage grimaced. "Like you had ten snakes stuck in your throat."

"Our throat structures differ from those of Demons," Ang explained patiently. "Some pronunciations come naturally to them, but if we humans force ourselves to learn them... something will go wrong."

As he spoke, he selected several basic Demon words, demonstrated them himself, and then had everyone try to imitate them.

However, things immediately became rather ridiculous.

Only Dana and Gweny could barely reproduce something close to the original sounds.

The others either dislocated their jaws or made unsettling cracking noises with their jawbones. A few could not even speak for a while.

"Stop, stop, don't learn it anymore!" someone cried, clutching their jaw in pain.

Ang could only helplessly treat them one by one.

A short while later, everyone recovered, but no one was willing to bring up learning the Demon language
