"How was the progress on the nightmare summoning Ad was handling?" Ang asked as he closed the scroll in his hand and turned his gaze toward Quintina beside him.

Quintina let out a soft breath and replied, "Not bad. More than four hundred Summoning Contracts have been stabilized so far."

"This progress is too slow." Ang frowned slightly, his tone carrying unquestionable resolve. "We need at least a thousand nightmares to form a complete Nightmare Knight regiment."

Quintina froze for a moment before looking up at him.

Ang's eyes were cold and focused, holding an expression that sent a chill down one's spine.

After hesitating for a moment, she said quietly, "Are you really planning to form a Nightmare Knight regiment? Ang, those are abyssal creatures..."

Ang suddenly laughed. His laughter was low, yet it carried an irresistible force. "Ha ha. If nightmares are used well, they will be our strongest support. Besides, what I want are Nightmare Knights, not Dark Knights."

"But no matter what, nightmares aren't Black Scale Warhorses. They don't belong to this world." Quintina remained worried.

She had witnessed the terror of nightmares before. Once those colossal beasts wreathed in black flames went out of control, they could likely destroy the entire battle group.

Ang shook his head, his expression resolute. "We need to work on both fronts. The Black Scale Warhorses are our strength in the open, while the nightmares are our hidden trump card."

"Only by complementing each other can they support the future situation. Nightmares will not weaken our knights. They will only make them stronger."

Quintina opened her mouth, but in the end, she merely sighed and said softly, "You always find a way to leave me unable to argue."

Over the following days, Ang personally joined Ad's summoning work.
