Quintina was part of the team that escorted the Black Mage Bes, unaware that he belonged to the Black Magic Society. Bes used their mission as cover for the Hellhound invasion of the Tarim Plane, then left a letter revealing his actions and urging the team to flee. Quintina and her companions escaped the chaos surrounding Central City, but Mage Association members pursued them during their retreat. 285 286

Ange pressured Quintina into disclosing this history, then declared her his prisoner and brought her to Bahoya City. Despite the coercive beginning, he arranged quarters and care for her at the North Wind Warband camp. North Wind Territory and Enchanting

Quintina quickly became one of Ange's most capable assistants. She prepared materials for his enchanting work precisely as instructed, helped complete the first batch of enchanted armaments, and received a custom Magic Staff as recognition for her work. 289 298
