Quintina looked up at the enormous tree piercing the clouds, her eyes full of amazement and awe. She could not help murmuring, "I never had the chance to take a proper look at the World Tree before. Now I understand why it is called a miracle of the world..."
Ang reached out and ruffled her hair with a smile. "The circumstances were special back then. We could only move around on the World Tree. Otherwise, I would have brought you to see the whole thing properly long ago."
Quintina blushed, lowered her head, and softly hummed in acknowledgment.
Natiya, however, wore a worried expression. Her gaze remained fixed on the World Tree, as though she harbored concerns she could not put into words.
Ang noticed, but merely patted her shoulder without saying anything more.
As Ang stepped into the World Tree's range, the air suddenly grew heavy, as if some invisible presence were watching him.
The blades of grass beneath his feet trembled faintly, as though every leaf were examining the identity of the visitor.
At that moment, the lizardfolk studying magic beneath the tree were still gathered together, speaking in low voices.
When they saw Ang and his group approach, they frowned and were about to shout at them to leave when dozens of Flame Swordsmen pounced like tigers and subdued them all.
Flaming binding ropes shimmered with scorching light as they tightly restrained the lizardfolk, who were then dragged beyond the World Tree's range.
Standing beneath the tree's shadow, Ang looked up thoughtfully. This feeling of being watched... Could there be an unseen legendary lizardfolk hidden in the tree?
He raised a hand to stroke his chin, pondering what felt wrong.
"Ang, the World Tree is so huge. How are we supposed to get up there?" Quintina craned
