Seeing that the Black Mage had fallen completely unconscious, Ang coldly swept his gaze over the enemy on the ground, then crouched down and began opening the man's Magic Waist Pouch. As the pouch's seal was undone, a faint ripple of magical power seeped out. A trace of interest flashed through Ang's eyes. He took out the items inside one by one and discovered several things of considerable value.
The first things that caught his eye were several Magic Books, their covers inscribed with obscure runes and magical diagrams that radiated a powerful dark aura. These books were clearly related to Black Magic, and their contents might reveal the secrets of the Black Mage Association. Ang casually flipped through a few pages, memorized the general contents, then put the books into his own pouch for future study.
Next, he took out several magical materials, including rare alchemical ingredients and a few small bottles filled with a dark aura. Ang did not know much about these materials, but he knew they were valuable, so he put all of them into his Magic Waist Pouch. He also found a finely crafted Magic Broom, its surface carved with delicate runes. It was clearly a high-quality flying tool. Ang nodded to himself as he stored it away, a special plan forming in his mind. However, he would have to wait until he became a Rank 1 Mage before he could put it into action.
Ang continued searching until he found a parchment scroll. Drawn on its surface was a familiar portrait—of Ang himself! The image was exquisitely detailed, clearly copied through magical means, and looked remarkably lifelike. The scroll also included a mission description that explicitly stated the target was to capture Ang alive, though the client had left no name.
