Danzo's Death

Watching Hiruko walk toward him step by step, Danzo showed little panic. Instead, he remained remarkably calm.

He had clearly already known what fate awaited him.

His Sharingan had all been used up, the Mangekyo Sharingan's ocular technique was still on cooldown, and more than half his Chakra had been depleted... Turning the tables was practically impossible.

But Danzo was not someone who gave up so easily. He felt he might still be saved.

Yet the next second, every last one of his schemes was shattered.

Hiruko formed Hand Seals with one hand, and Danzo's arm—the one implanted with Wood Release—suddenly swelled as though it had slipped beyond his control.

The Curse Mark Hiruko had planted during the surgery abruptly erupted.

The Chakra throughout Danzo's body surged uncontrollably toward his right arm, and a towering tree burst from the ground.

Danzo had already been through a fierce battle, and now so much more Chakra had been drained from him. At last, he could no longer suppress the Wood Release.

A cold glint flashed through Danzo's eyes. A Kunai appeared in his left hand, and he severed his right arm without hesitation.

Hiruko lashed out with a roundhouse kick that struck Danzo in the chest, sending him flying.

Lying flat on the ground, Danzo gasped for breath.

Hiruko slowly approached, then pressed two fingers together like a blade and gouged out Danzo's right eye. He gently placed it into a test tube, sealed it with a cap, then used a Scroll to Seal it away.

A little white snake shot out of the grass. Hiruko glanced at it, then tossed the Scroll onto the ground.

Big White opened his mouth wide and swallowed the Scroll in one gulp, then turned into a cloud of smoke and vanished into the air.
