Wei Yang and Xiao Yan traveled into the Ancient Desolate Region to seek the Bodhi Ancient Tree, surviving its poisonous forest and deadly Beast Tide. At the tree, they discovered the Emperor's Curse and faced five Half-Saint puppets, with several battles still underway.

• Wei Yang and Xiao Yan set out for the Ancient Desolate Region with Xian'er, Medusa, and Ah Da, then fought through poisonous mist and deadly beasts.
• Wei Yang's group rescued Yun Yun and Nalan Yanran from the Heavenly Nether Sect, and Xiao Yan and Ah Da helped defeat their attackers.
• Wei Yang captured an Ancient Heavenly Demon Python, and Xiao Yan used its Sky Demon Blood Pool to complete the Vajra Glazed Body and reach the Second Revolution.
• At the Ancient Region Platform, Wei Yang and Xiao Yan joined Gu Xun'er and the other factions in an alliance to cross the Beast Tide.
• Wei Yang led his group through the Beast Tide as most of the advancing experts were devoured, and the survivors reached the Bodhi Ancient Tree.
• Wei Yang sensed the Emperor's Curse near the tree and warned the others that its life aura concealed sinister energy.
• The Bodhi Ancient Tree released five Half-Saint puppets, and Wei Yang defeated the strongest while Xiao Yan's group and the other factions fought the rest.

Wei Yang and Xiao Yan survived the Bodhi Ancient Tree’s illusions and Hundred Generations Reincarnation, then defeated Hun Yu and Jiu Feng’s forces and returned to Starfall Pavilion with powerful rewards. Back home, they distributed Heavenly Flames and turned their attention to cultivation, the Soul Clan, and Wei Ye’s ambitions.

• Xiao Yan and his allies defeated their Half-Saint puppet, and the surviving groups finished the remaining puppets at the cost of nine Dou Zun lives.
• Wei Yang and the others entered the Bodhi Ancient Tree’s light, where Wei Yang overcame an illusion and joined Xiao Yan in the tree’s hidden space.
• Wei Yang and Xiao Yan learned that the lingering emotions of a dead Dou Di were corrupting the Bodhi Ancient Tree, and they refined Bodhi Children to cleanse it in exchange for protection of their companions.
• The Bodhi Ancient Tree freed the others from their illusions, then Wei Yang and Xiao Yan completed the Hundred Generations Reincarnation and awakened with their memories intact.
• Wei Yang and Xiao Yan received Bodhi Children, and Xiao Yan defeated Hun Yu, Jiu Feng, and their fighters before the group left the tree’s collapsing space with the Bodhi Heart.
• Wei Yang exchanged the Heaven Demon Phoenix Clan captives for the Golden Phoenix Flame and Bodhi Children, then returned to Starfall Pavilion with Xiao Yan and their companions.
• Yao Chen accepted the Golden Phoenix Flame and gave Xiao Yan the Bone Chilling Flame, while Wei Yang ordered Hun Yu questioned and discussed future goals with Wei Ye.
• Wei Yang practiced the Grand Unity Soul Technique, and Elder Yao explained the Eight Ancient Clans as Wei Ye resolved to grow strong enough to make Starfall Pavilion the strongest.

As Starfall Pavilion grew stronger, Xiao Yan and Wei Yang prepared for the Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame and entered the Nine Nether Yellow Springs to find a rare crystal. They freed Yao Ming, the deposed chief of the Nine Nether Earth Python Tribe, and bound him to Wei Yang with a Slave Seal.

• Xiao Yan revealed that the ruined Xiao Clan was the eighth ancient clan, while Elder Yao described his expulsion from the Yao Clan and vowed to surpass those who relied on bloodlines.
• Wei Yang reached peak Grade 8 alchemist and Three-Star Peak Dou Saint, while Xiao Yan emerged from seclusion as a Dou Saint and tested his strength against Wei Yang in the void.
• A Soul Clan Dou Saint probed Starfall Pavilion and challenged Xiao Yan to rescue Xiao Zhan, prompting Wei Yang, Xiao Yan, and Elder Yao to complete a defensive Spatial Grand Array.
• Elder Yao identified the Nine Nether Yellow Springs as a place to help Xiao Yan prepare for the Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame and directed him to seek a Yellow Springs Blood Crystal for a Ninth Grade pill.
• Wei Yang, Xiao Yan, Medusa, Qing Lin, and Ah Da entered the Beast Region, intercepted Northern Dragon Island dragons seeking the Nine Nether Earth Python Tribe's support, and learned that the Ancient Dragon Islands were at war.
• Wei Yang led the group into the Nine Nether Yellow Springs without notifying the tribe, then he and Xiao Yan descended through its frigid waters and fought off swarms of monstrous snakes.
• At the bottom, Wei Yang and Xiao Yan found Yao Ming chained beneath the ground, and Yao Ming explained that Yao Xiaotian had poisoned him and taken his position as chief.
• Wei Yang planted a Slave Seal in Yao Ming's Soul Origin, and Yao Ming gave Xiao Yan a Yellow Springs Blood Crystal before Wei Yang tore apart the black mountain anchoring his chains and freed him.

Wei Yang and Xiao Yan helped Yao Ming reclaim the Nine Nether Earth Python Tribe, gained the Yellow Springs Demonic Saint’s techniques and essence blood, and stopped the Heaven Demon Phoenix Clan from aiding the dragon rebels. The Ancient Dragon Tribe reunited under Zi Yan and agreed to join Wei Yang and Xiao Yan in waiting for the Soul Clan at Tou She Ancient God’s Cave Mansion.

• Wei Yang and Xiao Yan helped Yao Ming defeat the Great Elder, retake control of the Nine Nether Earth Python Tribe, and uncover the Yellow Springs Stone Tablet’s secrets.
• Wei Yang and Xiao Yan defeated the Yellow Springs Demonic Saint’s remnant soul, learned his techniques, and received his essence blood after discussing the absence of Emperor Origin Qi.
• Wei Yang and Xiao Yan cultivated with the essence blood as Qing Lin, Medusa, and Ah Da trained in the Nine Nether Yellow Springs, then intercepted the Heaven Demon Phoenix Clan’s forces.
• Wei Yang, Xiao Yan, and Yao Ming defeated and sealed the Heaven Demon Phoenix Clan’s Supreme Elders and captured its dispatched Dou Zuns.
• Hei Qing told Wei Yang and Xiao Yan that Zi Yan had defeated the Three Dragon Kings and unified the Ancient Dragon Tribe.
• Wei Yang and Xiao Yan warned Great Elder Qingshan that the Nine Nether Earth Python Tribe and Heaven Demon Phoenix Clan had planned to support the dragon rebels, and Qingshan agreed to build ties with Yao Ming’s tribe.
