In the letter Darius left behind, he had expressed his hope that Chen Yi could deal with some foolish people within the empire.
And Talon was the best assistant for this trip.
Talon knew the territories controlled by every noble faction and was an expert assassin. He could help Chen Yi clean up any loose ends.
After a while, Talon led Chen Yi out of the Samba Ha Tavern.
The mercenaries in the tavern were still as boisterous as ever.
"Who is your target this time, my lord?"
Chen Yi named the nobles listed on the envelope.
After hearing them, Talon fell into thought. "May I ask how I should address you, my lord?"
"Yi."
"Luowen Yi."
Talon repeated the name several times to make sure he remembered it. "Lord Luowen, I suggest starting with Haji Demir."
Chen Yi asked, "Why?"
"The Demir Family is one of the oldest noble houses in Noxus. Haji Demir is the current head of the Demir Family and serves as the chief quartermaster of the Noxian military."
"But according to my information, Haji Demir once sold Noxian Resources for his own benefit."
Chen Yi slowly shook his head. "Not enough."
Talon froze. The man before him did not seem completely loyal to the empire.
Then why did he possess a token from one of Noxus's highest-ranking officials?
Perhaps there was some deeper meaning Talon did not understand.
He then continued, "Among your targets, my lord, only the Demir Family is especially xenophobic and has little contact with the other targets."
"Even if the Demir Family goes silent, the other nobles will not notice for a while."
Chen Yi said, "Fine, I understand."
"When do you plan to act, my lord?"
"Tonight."
