Caught in the Trap

San Hua reacted even faster. A Side Quest was still a quest; it could not be wasted.

His figure flickered as he arrived directly before the tongue and grabbed it.

An attack capable of breaching the thick City Wall failed to move San Hua in the slightest.

Then San Hua leaped up and stomped the lizard's head into the ground.

The impact sent a violent gale surging outward.

With a muffled boom, the lizard's head exploded.

Alice released the card clenched tightly in her hand. "I'm fine. All soldiers, return to your positions."

"But..."

"No buts. I have an adventurer protecting me. Right now, the most important thing is defending the City Wall."

"Yes, ma'am."

If the enemy had only attacked from beyond the City Wall, Alice was confident she could delay them for several days, until the troops sent to the industrial district
