Something Quite Important to Report to Everyone!

Today's two updates totaled over seventeen thousand words.

I'd already worked hard to adjust the update schedule, moving it an hour earlier, but today's update was late again.

My sleep had been terrible. Last night, I'd only managed to sleep for a little over four hours with great difficulty. Then I had errands to run today, so I got back late and started writing late.

A few days ago, I went to the hospital for sleep medication, but I arrived too late and the outpatient clinic had closed. The emergency department could only prescribe one box, which I finished quickly, so today I went back to get three more boxes and had my hair cut while I was at it.

I finally had time to get a haircut. Over the past month, I'd wanted one many times, but I simply couldn't squeeze out even a little time.

My hair really couldn't go uncut any longer. Tomorrow I'm going to Shanghai, and the day after tomorrow I'm going to Japan to attend my company's writers' salon.

That was what I wanted to report to everyone.

From April 5th to the 12th, I won't be home—I'll be out and about.

But I'm not taking time off. I'll still seize every moment and every opportunity to write: writing at the airport, writing on the plane, writing at the hotel.

Not only will I not miss any updates, I'll still strive to maintain updates of over ten thousand words every day.

Writing like my life depended on it seemed to have become my mission. If I wrote fewer than ten thousand words in a day, it felt as though I'd let everyone down.
