The Will of Honkai's figure gradually faded away.

Once Otto was eliminated, "we" would all get what we wanted.

Elysia waved at the fading figure of the Will of Honkai, as though seeing off a friend.

"After all, I'm just like you."

"We both hate Otto enough to want him dead~"

The new plot is out. It can't really be considered a betrayal, though. Although Elysia was the first Herrscher, she was still the thirteenth Herrscher observed by humanity.

The writing was fairly steady. Since this possibility had been considered, it would be easy enough to explain.

After all, Otto didn't have an omniscient perspective.

And if Elysia had possessed a Herrscher Core from the start, Mobius and Mei should have found out long ago. After all, Elysia had undergone experiments and physical examinations. So, Elysia might have been a natural-born Herrscher, but that did not necessarily mean she had a Herrscher Core inside her.

So the Herrscher Core might have been hidden away, or perhaps she had never accepted that power. Otherwise, if she had possessed the ability, Elysia might not have let Binding and Corruption kill so many people.

Still, the name Herrscher of the Human really doesn't sound very good. Other civilizations have Herrschers too, but they may not necessarily have humans.
