Kiana wasn't particularly flustered. Wrapped up like a spring roll, she rolled over on the bed and changed position. Originally facing away from Otto, she was now facing him.
"What is it?"
Though he had openly admitted to a nighttime raid, Kiana didn't think he had actually come to raid her room.
Something must have happened.
Earlier, Otto had told her to forget her worries for the next few days and do whatever she wanted, hoping she could be happy and leave no regrets. Naturally, he wouldn't have shown up before her otherwise.
So he had come to see her now.
Something had happened.
Moonlight outlined the man beside her. Through the darkness, Kiana looked at that somewhat youthful, adorable face.
"Tch."
Kiana couldn't help clicking her tongue.
"I really can't stand that face of yours. Can't you use your own face? Acting young at your age... why are you so Theresa?"
Kiana felt that her aunt's habit of pretending to be young had clearly been learned from her grandfather. She was obviously over forty, yet acted like a little girl who could retire the moment she finished writing.
"But this really is my face." Otto didn't mind Kiana taking a jab at Theresa. "It's just what I looked like when I was young... well, when I was a child."
"?"
Kiana froze. She really hadn't expected this to be what Otto had looked like in the past, but one of the worries in her heart could finally be put to rest.
At least she wouldn't have to worry about the baby turning out ugly because of Otto's genes.
Though Kiana didn't want to admit it, Little Otto did have a good face—the sort girls would like. He was absolutely top-tier among children. But even so, she wasn't going to
