Bronya had never thought about the existence of a father. Ever since she could remember, she had been an orphan. Now, a name had suddenly appeared, and she was told that this person was her father. It did not feel real to her.

However, looking at the gravestone, Bronya crouched down and carefully brushed the snow off the flowers, straightening the blooms that the wind and snow had knocked askew.

Bronya looked at the gravestone, unable to form any image she could associate with him.
