Hueco Mundo's terrain was structured differently from other places because it had two levels.

The upper level was the endless white-sand desert Zhang Miao had seen when he first crossed over into the world of Bleach.

In the original story, after Aizen, formerly one of the captains of the Gotei 13 in Soul Society, betrayed Soul Society and came to Hueco Mundo, he used a special gem known as the "Hogyoku" to modify Menos Grande, granting them the powers of Bleach and allowing them to break their original masks and become so-called Arrancar.

An Arrancar Menos Grande possessed several times the strength of an ordinary Menos Grande, and with this power, Aizen had easily become Hueco Mundo's uncrowned king.

After Aizen took control of Hueco Mundo, he expanded Las Noches, which had originally been nothing more than a ruined underground base, into a magnificent structure above ground.

During that period, Hueco Mundo's first level became the exclusive territory of the Arrancar, while the Hollows that had not become Arrancar were driven underground.

That was the lower level of Hueco Mundo, commonly known as the Great Forest of Menos.

However, Aizen clearly had not yet come to Hueco Mundo, so Zhang Miao had seen neither Arrancar nor the grand Las Noches from the original story. There were even quite a few weak Hollows wandering the surface, making him forget that the Great Forest of Menos even existed.

But after the system prompt, he immediately remembered, and a faint smile appeared on his face.
