Zhang Miao knew that his current combat power of ten million was the result of the Curse Mark's enhancement. Once he released the Curse Mark state, his combat power would drop to 1.1 million.

But Zhang Miao did not mind, because in his view, the Curse Mark state was part of his strength. He could use it when facing a powerful enemy. If he could not win, could he not at least run away?

Unlike Ichigo Kurosaki in the original story, who ended up covered in blood and barely alive every time, Zhang Miao felt he would not be that stupid.

Adjuchas were unlike ordinary Menos Grande and Gillian. They possessed intelligence no less than that of humans, and when faced with the threat of death, they could not remain indifferent. Thus, they chose a way to survive.
