Aizen's Fake Death

When Zhang Miao heard Soi Fon say that the person who had screamed was Momo Hinamori, lieutenant of the 5th Division, he knew what had happened.

Aizen had faked his death!

When Aizen discovered that Kisuke Urahara had hidden the Hogyoku inside Rukia Kuchiki's body, he slaughtered everyone in Central 46. Then, in their name, he issued orders for Byakuya Kuchiki to capture Rukia Kuchiki and bring her back.

To maintain the illusion that Central 46 was still functioning normally, Aizen could only bring in Kaname Tōsen and Gin Ichimaru. The three of them took turns guarding Central 46 to prevent any accidents.

But after Zhang Miao and the others entered the Seireitei, Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto had issued the highest alert, demanding that all captains and lieutenants take part in the operation to capture the Ryoka.
