• Xiao Se rescued Zhu Zhuqing from the darkness and defended her when Dai Mubai and the Shrek students confronted them, defeating Dai Mubai and Flander before facing Tang Ri Tian.
• Xiao Se fought Tang Ri Tian outside Soto City, then warned Flander that Tang San carried an old monster’s soul, prompting Shrek Academy to investigate and evacuate.

• Queen Medusa told Xiao Se about her missing twin sister Die, while Xiao Yan faced Nalan Yanran’s challenge to meet her at Yun Lan Sect in three years.
