The pattern seemed to come alive in midair, like little snakes darting everywhere before finally converging in one spot.
A faint smile tugged at Wang Ye's lips as he threw a punch.
The little snakes scattered, while a crack appeared in the void he struck. It gradually widened, forming a passage.
That old monk had displayed this move in front of Wang Ye before. Back then, Wang Ye had still been fairly weak and had thought such techniques profound and mysterious. Yet in the blink of an eye, only half a year had passed, and he could now create such a passage himself.

Wang Ye nodded in satisfaction and slipped into the passage. As he departed, the passage began to shatter, and everything returned to normal as though nothing had happened.

The little girl looked utterly exhausted. She sat limply on the ground with vacant eyes. Even her hair was greasy and filthy, leaving her disheveled and miserable-looking.
"Is there a trap or not?"
"Should I go out?"
She kept muttering under her breath, looking utterly miserable.
At last, she gritted her teeth, her gaze turning resolute. "To hell with it. I'm not suffering through this anymore."
The dungeon was damp, and a foul stench had already begun to seep from her body.
Between survival and cleanliness, she chose the latter.
She rose from the ground and slowly walked to the dungeon gate. Filled with hesitation, she finally took a cautious
