He Will Become the Rival You Love and Hate

"Did he have anything else to say?" Frieza asked without turning around.

"He said that his younger brother, Shoshaaria, has gone missing, and Vegeta's Spaceship has completely lost contact as well," Berryblue replied. "Our technicians investigated just now and confirmed that Vegeta's Spaceship has indeed disappeared."

"Oh? So they already destroyed the Positioning System?" Frieza was not particularly surprised.

"Possibly." Berryblue nodded.

"Pass down the order. The moment their whereabouts are discovered, report it to me immediately," Frieza commanded Berryblue.

"Yes, Lord Frieza." Berryblue bowed.

"So... Shoshaaria was probably killed by Vegeta and Luo Tian, wasn't he?" Frieza's face darkened slightly. He narrowed his eyes, anger surfacing on his face.

Frieza was not angry over the death of a subordinate.

He simply felt that he had underestimated those two young Saiyans, Vegeta and Luo Tian.

"Dodoria has requested permission to visit the location of Shoshaaria's Spaceship," Berryblue continued.

"Let him go." Frieza nodded without objection.

An hour later, a flattened spherical Spaceship landed on the planet where Luo Tian and the others had previously touched down.

Dodoria quickly found his younger brother's Spaceship.

Then, he looked around and found traces left behind from Vegeta and Shoshaaria's battle.

Among those traces, Dodoria keenly discovered Shoshaaria's remains.

Dodoria stepped forward and picked up a piece of his younger brother's skull, his expression turning exceptionally ugly.

"Shoshaaria! You idiot! I told you to be careful, but you refused to listen! And now Vegeta killed you, didn't he?" Dodoria clenched his fists tightly, trembling all over with rage.

Immediately afterward, Dodoria did not linger for even a moment. He boarded his Spaceship and left the planet at once.

"Vegeta, Luo Tian, just you wait! I'll definitely destroy both of you and avenge my brother!" Dodoria shouted inside the Spaceship, venting his fury.

Luo Tian and Vegeta's Spaceship continued speeding through the starry expanse.

Luo Tian also casually destroyed the monitoring system on Vegeta's Scouter.

This Angelic Power really was becoming easier and easier to use.

It truly was Divine Power!

"You mean Planet Namek can grant any wish?" Vegeta looked utterly delighted.

"That's right. They're called the Dragon Balls." Luo Tian had nothing to hide and explained with a smile. "They can grant three wishes in total. One wish for each of us. Have you thought about what you want?"

"My wish is obviously to become a Super Saiyan. What's so strange about that?" Vegeta answered without hesitation, then could not help asking Luo Tian, "What about your wish? Do you want to become a Super Saiyan God?"

"No. I want the ability to survive in outer space, nothing more," Luo Tian replied.

"The ability to survive in outer space? What kind of wish is that? Flashy but useless!" Vegeta looked at Luo Tian strangely.

"I don't want to die in outer space someday," Luo Tian said with a smile.

"Suit yourself." Vegeta shook his head, thinking Luo Tian was too foolish. Then he muttered under his breath, "I'd heard long ago that Namekians possessed all kinds of miraculous abilities. I never expected them to be able to create Dragon Balls and grant three wishes through them."

"So once you reach Planet Namek, be polite to the people there. If you just rely on brute force, you won't get any wishes at all." Luo Tian nodded and gave Vegeta another reminder.

"Hmph, I don't need you teaching me what to do. Of course I know what to do!" Vegeta stood by the window, gazing into the vast starry sky as he snorted.

As they spoke, Vegeta suddenly spotted a spherical Spaceship streaking through space and speeding off in another direction.

Vegeta looked into the distance. At the moment the Spaceship turned, he saw a child inside it.

"That's... a Saiyan?" Vegeta froze. He stepped forward, picked up his Scouter, and pressed one of its buttons.

"Beep... Battle Power: 2!"

Vegeta quickly detected the other party's Battle Power through the Scouter.

Vegeta: "..."

"I remember now. That little brat is Bardock's son. What was his name again?" Vegeta murmured as he thought.

"Kakarot," Luo Tian said.

"Right, Kakarot. A low-class warrior. How pitiful, with a Battle Power of only 2." Vegeta shook his head. "What a disgrace to us Saiyans."

"Sometimes, low-class warriors can surpass gifted warriors through diligent training," Luo Tian replied.

"Stop talking nonsense. That's absolutely impossible." Vegeta snorted, clearly unconvinced.

"Vegeta, I did a quick calculation with my fingers, and that Kakarot might become the rival you'll love and hate for the rest of your life," Luo Tian said with a sigh.

Vegeta: "..."

Love and hate?

"Is Kakarot a girl?" Vegeta was stunned. "No... I clearly saw that he was a boy."

Luo Tian silently wiped away his sweat.

"What? You think that guy will become my rival?" Vegeta looked utterly disdainful.

"He will." Luo Tian nodded.

"Tch, baseless nonsense." Vegeta snorted. "Which planet is he heading to? Was he just exiled from Planet Vegeta by my father? Or did Bardock secretly send him away?"

"Judging by that Spaceship's trajectory, there's a strong chance it's heading to Earth," Luo Tian said.

Vegeta stepped forward and looked up Earth's information, disappointment appearing on his face. "This planet has no value to speak of, though the food on it seems fairly abundant."

After a pause.

Vegeta continued, "I understand now. Kakarot's father probably thought his son was too worthless and unable to endure Saiyan competition, so he banished him to that planet... Hmm, just like my younger brother Tarble. Father also thought he was worthless, so he sent him to a planet with no significant resources."

Luo Tian said no more and continued studying his Angelic Power.

"Hmph, I'm going to take a nap first." Vegeta ran into the sleeping chamber and went to sleep.

The days passed one after another.

Ten days later.

Standing by the window of the Spaceship, Luo Tian saw a rather large green planet appear in the distant region.

It was Planet Namek.
