Shenron, Do You Know Aladdin's Lamp?
One after another, the elders from the other villages hurried over with their Dragon Balls.
After arriving, the village elders immediately stepped forward to pay their respects to the Great Elder and told him about Planet Namek's negative energy.
The elders had all noticed that Planet Namek's negative energy seemed to have vanished.
Those fellow Namekians who had been ill in the past had also been mysteriously cured.
When the Great Elder revealed that Luo Tian was their benefactor, all the Namekians present immediately looked astonished.
Anyone could see that this benefactor of the Namekians looked incredibly young, practically like a child.
However, the Namekians were very polite and immediately stepped forward to bow to Luo Tian.
By now, five elders had arrived from afar, bringing the total to five Dragon Balls. Adding Elder Moori's Dragon Ball made six in all.
Only the Great Elder's Dragon Ball remained before they would have all seven.
About five more minutes passed.
Whoosh!
Two bright streaks flashed across the horizon.
Nail and Vegeta returned with the Dragon Ball.
As soon as Vegeta returned, he panted heavily. Looking at the Dragon Ball in Nail's hands, he suddenly felt... What did I even come along for this time?
Was I just there to run errands?
I don't think I did anything at all.
Why did Luo Tian send me away?
But then, Vegeta immediately spotted the seven Dragon Balls that had already been gathered.
His heart surged with excitement.
Nail also handed the final Dragon Ball to Luo Tian with both hands.
Luo Tian placed all seven Dragon Balls together.
"Then, I'll make my wishes now," Luo Tian said politely to the Great Elder.
"Alright." The Great Elder nodded.
But Vegeta's eyes darted around. He immediately rushed forward and shouted at the seven Dragon Balls, "Dragon Balls, let me, Vegeta, become a Super Saiyan!"
And then... nothing happened.
All the Namekians present looked at Vegeta as though he were an idiot.
Vegeta: "..."
Vegeta stood there in a daze for a long time, but he noticed no changes in his body.
"Luo Tian, you lied to me! Didn't you say that gathering all seven Dragon Balls could grant any wish?" Vegeta shouted, glaring angrily at Luo Tian.
"No, you're mistaken," Luo Tian replied. "It's three wishes, not one."
Vegeta: "..."
"Does that matter? Why couldn't I make my wish? I want to become a Super Saiyan! Why hasn't my body reacted at all?" Vegeta asked in exasperation.
"Ahem, Prince Vegeta... gathering the seven Dragon Balls doesn't mean you can make wishes directly... You need to summon Shenron first," the Great Elder explained helplessly.
"Summon Shenron? What the hell is that?" Vegeta felt like his whole world had gone wrong.
The Great Elder said no more and immediately summoned Shenron in the Namekian Language.
As soon as the Great Elder finished speaking, the sky instantly turned pitch-black.
The next moment, the seven Dragon Balls bloomed with golden light. The golden radiance formed a pillar of electricity that shot into the heavens, where it gathered and shifted shape.
Crack!
The pillar of light transformed into a massive green dragon.
The dragon was chubby and even looked somewhat adorable.
"O one who has gathered the Dragon Balls, speak your wishes. I will do everything in my power to grant you three wishes," Shenron's voice resounded from the sky.
"W-what is that?" Vegeta's eyes widened in boundless shock.
"Luo Tian, Prince Vegeta, this is Planet Namek's Shenron. He is also called Porunga, which means God of Dreams," the Great Elder explained with a smile.
This was also Luo Tian's first time seeing Shenron Porunga with his own eyes, and he was deeply moved.
From Luo Tian's current perspective, Shenron Porunga seemed enormous, like a colossal monster coiling through the high sky.
"These three wishes are all yours this time." The Great Elder laughed heartily.
"Can we make wishes now?" Vegeta had learned his lesson this time and did not rush in to make a wish right away.
What if the wish still can't be granted? That would be even more humiliating.
I've already embarrassed myself all the way back to Planet Vegeta twice.
I'd better get everything straight first.
"You may," Shenron Porunga's voice replied. "Speak your first wish."
Vegeta's eyes immediately lit up with a sharp gleam.
Even this dragon said wishes could be made!
There shouldn't be any problem now.
"Hey, make me, Vegeta, a Super Saiyan!" Vegeta hurriedly wished at Shenron.
Shenron Porunga ignored him.
"Shenron, give me an Aladdin's Lamp." Luo Tian calmly made his first wish in the Namekian Language.
Shenron: "..."
The Great Elder was startled. He had never expected Luo Tian to be able to speak the Namekian Language.
"Hehe, I taught him," Delta said proudly. "Well, he isn't very fluent, but he makes himself understood clearly enough."
Moori: "..."
Moori silently wiped away sweat.
I'm more and more convinced... this kid learned the Namekian Language just to make wishes.
He just learned a few pronunciations... and they happened to form these sentences.
This kid is too wicked!
Vegeta turned his head toward Luo Tian with a baffled expression.
"Hey, Luo Tian, was that bird language?" Vegeta asked strangely.
The Great Elder: "..."
Every Namekian present glared at him.
What was this little brat talking about?
That was Planet Namek's sacred language.
"You mean the Aladdin's Lamp that can summon a genie by rubbing it, and grant one wish through the genie, correct?" Porunga felt like his entire dragon self was falling apart.
So your wish was something I couldn't grant and needed a genie to grant instead?
You summoned me just to ask for a magic lamp?
"Mm-hmm, that's exactly what I mean. As expected of Shenron, you know everything." Luo Tian nodded vigorously.
Porunga: "..."
A brief silence followed.
"This is merely an ancient myth. It does not truly exist, so this wish cannot be granted," Porunga answered.
"I knew it would be hard to grant... Then I'll change my wish." As Luo Tian spoke, he made another wish in the Namekian Language. "My wish is for there to be no more conflict in the universe, and for the universe to remain peaceful forever."
Porunga: "..."
"Sorry... this wish cannot be granted." Cold sweat formed on Porunga's head.
"It can't? It can't be granted?" Luo Tian froze.
"Yes... As long as people exist, conflict is inevitable. Even gods cannot prevent it." Porunga wiped away sweat.
