Reuniting with Nappa and Raditz

"Planet Kurit? I've heard of that planet. Wait there for me—I'll come find you right away," Prince Vegeta replied.

Raditz froze on the spot.

You're coming to find us?

You were the one who drove us off before and told us to operate on our own.

Why did you suddenly want to come find us now?

"What? You don't welcome me?" Prince Vegeta asked.

"Welcome you? Of course we do! It would be our honor if Prince Vegeta could team up with us," Raditz answered.

"Good!" Prince Vegeta's lips curved upward slightly, his face full of smug satisfaction.

Raditz was still the more obedient underling. At least he knew how to flatter me.

And then there was that Kaiyen bastard—he didn't respect this prince at all.

"By the way... Prince Vegeta... there's something..." Raditz's tone suddenly turned grave.

"What is it?" Prince Vegeta asked.

"The two unlucky bastards who were teamed up with us were killed by that Dodoria... Now only Nappa and I are left," Raditz said through gritted teeth. "Dodoria said he killed them because we acted without authorization..."

"Hmph, it was worth it. I killed his younger brother," Prince Vegeta chuckled.

"Shoshaaria?" Raditz was stunned. "I heard his Battle Power reached as high as 17,000!"

"Hmph, this prince's Battle Power is now 18,000!" Prince Vegeta said smugly.

"What? Prince Vegeta's Battle Power has already risen to 18,000?" Raditz cried out in delighted surprise.

"Of course. This prince is a genius, after all." Prince Vegeta's smile grew even brighter. "Wait there. I'll be over soon."

Whoosh!

The Spaceship changed direction amid the stars and sped toward the Starfield where Nappa and Raditz were located.

Frieza's Spaceship.

Since the communication line between Prince Vegeta and Raditz was controlled by Frieza's side, Frieza's underlings immediately intercepted the exchange.

"Lord Frieza, we've received a message from Vegeta," one underling stepped forward to report.

"Where is he? I'm going to kill him and avenge my brother!" Dodoria clenched his fists tightly, gritting his teeth as he glared coldly at the underling making the report.

Frieza narrowed his eyes at Dodoria.

Dodoria immediately backed down and hurriedly shut his mouth.

"What did Vegeta say?" Frieza asked with interest.

"He said he was going to find Nappa and Raditz," the underling replied.

"Oh?" Frieza could not quite understand what Vegeta was thinking.

By all rights, Vegeta and Kaiyen had damaged the Spaceship's communication system, so they should not have been able to contact Nappa and Raditz again.

"Perhaps the Spaceship's Positioning System malfunctioned on its own?" Berryblue guessed.

"If he could kill Shoshaaria, that means his Battle Power has surpassed Shoshaaria's." Frieza pondered. "If that's the case..."

As he spoke, Frieza turned to look at Dodoria.

Dodoria immediately bowed, though a bad feeling rose in his heart.

"Dodoria, Vegeta is still useful to me. I do not want you taking revenge yet. Do you understand?" Frieza instructed coldly.

"Yes... Lord Frieza!" Dodoria bowed again.

"You may leave for now." Frieza waved Dodoria away.

Dodoria left Frieza's room with a face full of resentment and hatred.

"Lord Frieza, are we keeping Vegeta alive?" Berryblue asked.

"I very much want to know how he raised his Battle Power so quickly! Something must have happened during that time!" Frieza sat in his hover pod, his tail swaying back and forth as a smile spread across his face.

"If he could kill Shoshaaria, then his Battle Power must be at least 18,000. His previous Battle Power was only 15,000, wasn't it?" Berryblue analyzed.

"A sudden increase of 3,000 in Battle Power. Interesting." Frieza snorted.

"Lord Frieza, I've heard that Saiyans grow stronger when they face stronger opponents, often constantly improving themselves in battle." Berryblue smiled. "Perhaps fighting Shoshaaria happened to give Vegeta the opportunity to break through."

"You have a point." Frieza nodded faintly, his expression turning somewhat cold. "So after raising his Battle Power a little, he has begun to think himself above everyone else? We need to find a way to teach him a better lesson. Simply eliminating him like this would be letting him off too easily."

"Didn't Lord Frieza want to raise pigs? I have a rather good idea." Berryblue gave a mysterious smile.

"Lord Frieza, have you ever played online games?" Berryblue asked with a smile.

Frieza: "..."

"All right, forgive my presumption..." Berryblue hurriedly explained apologetically. "In games, characters who level up quickly generally need to challenge monsters around their own level. That's the only way to gain large amounts of experience, level up through that experience, and improve their various abilities. If they encounter monsters far above or far below their own level, one side will be easily killed in an instant, while the other won't gain any experience."

"What exactly are you trying to say?" Frieza's expression darkened.

"Lord Frieza, hear me out..." Berryblue replied. "If Vegeta grows up in an environment like that, I guarantee that his Battle Power won't change much even after ten or twenty years!"

Berryblue bowed to Frieza.

"Do as you suggested. You'll be responsible for this matter," Frieza ordered.

"Yes, Lord Frieza." Berryblue readily agreed.

Twenty days later.

Kaiyen's Spaceship landed on Planet Kurit.

Nappa and Raditz immediately came out to greet them.

The two had nearly pissed themselves when Dodoria frightened them earlier.

Now that Vegeta had arrived, they seemed to have a solid backing and felt much more at ease.

"Prince Vegeta, you've finally arrived!" Raditz looked at Vegeta with a somewhat ingratiating expression.

"Prince Vegeta... we specially prepared a lavish meal for you as well," Nappa hurriedly added.

"Let's eat first. I'm getting a little hungry anyway." Vegeta nodded in satisfaction.

Kaiyen followed behind Vegeta as they headed into the distance.

Before long, the four of them arrived inside an enormous Castle.

"This is the Royal Palace where the Kurit people's king lived. It happens to be useful now," Nappa said with a smile.
