A man with a severely receding hairline and a friendly smile arrived at the Osborn Industries lobby with a young-looking girl. He showed his identification. After glancing at the credentials, the receptionist did not actually know what this organization abbreviated as S.H.I.E.L.D. was, so after asking Coulson, he called his supervisor.
With his hands in his pockets, Coulson surveyed the modern design of the Osborn Industries lobby while instructing Cindy, who had lowered her hood and buried her face beneath it. "Your transfer paperwork has been completed. Next week, you can transfer to Midtown High School. From now on, you'll report directly to Director Fury. I won't be responsible for you anymore. That also means your training at S.H.I.E.L.D. is finally over."
Cindy finally raised her head and looked at Coulson.
"What about you, Agent Coulson?"
"Me? I have a new assignment—leading a new team and carrying out new missions. Thank you for keeping me company while I recovered. You've always been a rather introverted child. Take care of yourself."
Cindy nodded and said nothing more. They watched Norman Osborn approach, warmly extending his hand to Coulson.
"Welcome, Agent Coulson. I've heard much about you." Norman maintained his enthusiastic smile as he firmly clasped Coulson's hand. "I'm deeply grateful for S.H.I.E.L.D.'s concern regarding the theft of our company property, but unfortunately, it involves a great deal of confidential material that I cannot disclose to you."
"We have evidence that the theft at Osborn Industries may threaten public safety. This is our duty."
