At 6:50 in the morning, deep beneath Fisk Tower, Quentin Beck, so nervous he felt like he was about to throw up, put on his protective gear. This armor had been based on the extreme-environment survival suit Scarecrow had stolen back.

"Are you sure you're okay, Quentin? You don't look so good."
"I-I think I'll be fine." Quentin accepted the photonic projector Otto handed him. Surrounding them were all sorts of equipment Otto had made with Chitauri technology over the past two days, most of it drones of various sizes, along with dozens of bionic robots. Apparently, these were old S.H.I.E.L.D. Life Model Decoys, or LMDs, which could be controlled with his brainwaves. They had all been dressed up to look like Mysterio as well.
"Should I wait until the Avengers go out on another mission before making my move?"
Doctor Octopus was silent for a long while before speaking slowly. "I think that even if the Avengers leave, you'll still end up causing a huge scene and getting caught."
"I wouldn't be surprised." Quentin sighed, holding his fishbowl helmet. It was impossible to tell whether he was worried or something else. "I'm afraid I might not even get the chance to cause a scene. What if I'm captured the moment I appear?"
