Deduction Time

"All right, Jessica, calm down. It's no big deal."

Jessica Drew took a deep breath, somewhat unwilling to accept the sight before her: an enormous herd of possibly hundreds or thousands of slaughtered Zombie Moose. These monsters had mangled bodies, were covered in symbiotes, and had split jaws—not to mention that even without superpowers, these half-ton creatures could easily flip a car.

And she only had to face hundreds or thousands of monsters like that. What could possibly be difficult about that?

Then her attention was drawn to Spider-Man.

"Is it just me, or... are you actually glowing?"

Blue lines appeared across Peter's new suit.

Then white lightning flowed through it. After a deafening sonic boom, Jessica could only see a streak of white lightning darting back and forth around her. Once Peter returned to where he had been and shifted his suit out of high-speed mode, he finally let out a long breath and looked at Jessica.

"Yeah, I'm actually glowing."

"All right..."

Jessica looked around. In about ten seconds, every single slaughter moose had fallen. The combination of Anti-Venom and the Speed Suit had allowed Peter to eliminate nearly all the enemies in the shortest possible time, completing every kill.

Jessica was a little confused. If that was the case, why had he needed to bring her along?

"All the enemies nearby have been dealt with. These symbiote moose were specifically waiting here for us, and Cletus isn't around. In that case, he most likely already ran away." Peter added uncertainly, "Or maybe his goal is to make us think he's already gone."

"Definitely the former. As a serial killer with artistic aspirations, running away definitely isn't his usual style. Since he decided to act, he must be planning something big." Jessica crouched beside one of the bodies
