"Today we received a very shocking letter from a viewer. He told me, 'J. Jonah, this morning, besides Spider-Man, I saw another Spider-Man. I definitely wasn't mistaken, because she was a female Spider-Man in a black suit. She wasn't wearing a mask, only a red bandana.'"

A faint crackle of static came from the radio in George Stacy's old car, followed by a deep, almost despairing sigh from JJJ. George couldn't help laughing, his fingers lightly tapping the steering wheel. "Good Lord, I've never heard him this depressed—it sounds like the end of the world."

Gwen, dressed in a white gown, looked at Peter beside her and slowly asked, "Another Spider-Man? A girl?"

Jonah continue in a deeply despairing tone.

"Ever since Spider-Man appeared, our city has been a complete mess. And now someone's telling me there's more than one pest like him? Fine, based on the description, this Spider-Woman—as we'll call her for now—isn't a masked criminal like Spider-Man. At least she only wore a bandana. Of course, it's not as if we've never seen criminals wearing bandanas..."
