Malekith looked nothing like the MCU-style Avengers. He was vastly different from the Dark Elf in the Thor 2 movie. There was a clear dividing line down his body: the right half was bluish-purple, while the left half was utterly black, so black that even his facial features could not be seen.
He wore an ancient medieval-style robe, likely with padded armor, chainmail, or some other protection underneath. Yet the robe itself looked deeply strange. Its right side was black, matching the left half of his body, while its left side was bright red. In the center was the emblem of the Wild Hunt clan—the side on the red armor was black, while the side on the black armor was a white sun.
When Peter saw Malekith, he helplessly scratched the back of his head.
"Uh, can I ask a question? I know you're a Dark Elf, but are you a Dark Elf because of your left side and right side? Like, DND drow have bluish-purple skin, but half of you is just pure black..."
"I never thought Midgard would have a tight-suited clown like this, and with such a foul mouth too."
Malekith looked at the two of them with barely contained disbelief. Weren't they supposed to be here to eliminate Thor? Why was there an extra guy?
"Sorry, my brother really isn't good at choosing friends."
Loki, controlling Absorbing Man, burst into laughter. Yet facing these Nine Realms villains who had come specifically for him, Thor was not nervous in the slightest. "Do you think controlling a thug means you can defeat me, Loki? I defeated the Destroyer Armor, much less your new puppet."
