The first day of the new semester passed just like that. The most excited person was actually senior Jessica. With S.H.I.E.L.D. agent training and missions, as well as the pressure of advancing to higher education, she resolutely decided to pour all her energy into the Detective Agency and make it bigger and stronger this year.

After all, this was her final year of high school. They had only recruited a dozen or so newcomers last year, and only three to five of them had been active. This year, they had to recruit enough people from the freshmen!

Meanwhile, Peter obtained the freshman roster from S.H.I.E.L.D.

Following Fury's orders, Coulson had brought over the freshman roster, but he was puzzled. It included not only first-year students but also transfer students. Neither he nor Nick Fury was quite sure why Spider-Man needed information on the new students.

Peter gave them the simplest reason.

"I'm a little worried that a bunch of superpowered people might suddenly show up among our younger schoolmates. You know, I know a lot of information about... other universes. Sometimes that information is fragmented, so I need to keep confirming things."

Coulson raised an eyebrow in mild surprise. He did not think this high school could be absurd enough to produce a whole bunch of superpowered people. This was not some hidden land of spiritual cultivation. Unless an organization had deliberately gathered everyone here, was it really possible for that many people to emerge?
