For high school juniors, the first day back held no special appeal. They might as well keep busy with the homecoming festival, while Peter and the others headed to the new Web-Slinger Base after school.

The old Web-Slinger Base had been damaged when Doctor Octopus invaded and abducted Dr. Jonathan. Too many people knew about it as well, so Norman Osborn had been quite generous in arranging for a new base. This time, however, he was not its direct owner. The base's name was transferred from Emily, Harry's mother, and her research project to somewhere else, while Norman himself personally handled the foundation.

Osborn Industries had also begun widely promoting the research projects Harry's mother had left behind.

"So the Web-Slinger Base's address has changed from your dad's place to your father-in-law's."

The three took the subway together and arrived near the new base. It was an old location too: one of the warehouses at the docks where they had fought Riot and the others during the Symbiote Tide had been rented by "Vulture," Adrian Toomes.

Oh, strictly speaking, he had never actually been Vulture in this universe, so Mr. Toomes was still the better name.

A.I.M.'s collapse had been so sudden that Adrian had gone bankrupt before he could even spend the money. He spent the next month or two utterly bewildered and terrified, only to discover that no person or agency had come looking to reclaim the money. So, while the area was being rebuilt, he simply rented a cheap new warehouse as the base for his new project.
