Ninjas Weren't Ready

In reality, Peter and the others had overthought it. Their group advanced with great caution, searching for the Hand while remaining wary of a possible ambush.

But the Hand had not set up an ambush at all.

Or rather, the Hand had not yet had time to prepare one. After taking out Daken, they had been busy using a ritual to wear down his will, intending to brainwash him into an assassin for the Hand.

Then they would release the news. When that happened, the Wolf Warrior they spoke of—Logan—would definitely come to investigate.

Then they could use the opportunity to take out Logan first, before using similar methods to have Elektra lure Daredevil over, drawing them in one by one and eliminating them.

But the brainwashing was not complete yet. They had not planned to make a move at all. Who would have thought they had already been exposed?

Even more unbelievable, it was not just Matt and the others who had come looking for trouble. On the other side, Bullseye and Prowler had also gotten ready and entered the tunnel from another direction. After Kingpin discovered that Matt had not come to seek his cooperation, he realized something.

He swiftly put his plan into motion and sent the two of them to deal with the Hand first.

And so, completely unaware of what was happening, the Hand had unknowingly prepared themselves for a beating.

"Wait... something's wrong. There are enemies up ahead."

Halfway through, Peter switched off the lights and waved for everyone to stop. Matt listened carefully for a while. There were no heartbeats, no breathing, no footsteps, or any other sounds.
