The Hand Ninjas Feel No Pain!

Immortal Ninjas, the Hand's rank-and-file super-soldiers. Every one of them possessed strength and speed beyond ordinary humans. In essence, each one was either immortal or already dead. They were incredibly strong, swift, and, because they were long since no longer living, felt no pain at all.

"They really don't feel pain. They aren't even making a sound!"

Peter snapped a Hand ninja's arm and was startled to find that the man truly did not make a peep. He was far more genuine than those Super-Beasts. Peter swung the ninja around and smashed him into the others while chatting with Matt. "Don't they know that if they were alive, we'd hold back a little when fighting them?"

"I'm afraid their usual opponents aren't vigilantes like us, but people like Bullseye!"

Matt drove one end of his staff into a Hand ninja's abdomen, then pulled out the other half. Using the wire connecting the two sections, he looped it around another ninja's neck and sliced off his head. The upside of fighting the undead was that he could dismember them without any psychological burden. The downside was that unless he removed their heads or limbs, they could really keep running around everywhere.

"And..."

After saying that, Matt turned toward Logan. Though he could not see Logan, he could tell from the sounds of limbs hitting the ground and the other man's movements how Wolverine was fighting. Even among superheroes, there were people who utterly ignored the rules.

In that case, there was no need for the Hand to train living people specifically for the heroes' "restraint." Those living ninjas with special abilities were better saved for more valuable targets.

As the battle continued, they also noticed something wrong. There were hundreds of Hand Genin here, but every single one was an Immortal
