Tang Lan led the Tang Sect and its allies to defeat Spirit Hall, force concessions from Qian Daoliu, and establish influence in the Heaven Dou Empire. He then pursued the Ice God inheritance with Tang San and the Shui sisters before returning to Spirit City, where he turned Liu Erlong against Yu Xiaogang.

• Tang Lan rejected Bibi Dong’s offers, challenged Spirit Hall Academy to an early final, and led Tang Sect Academy to victory before revealing that Tang Hao was his father.
• Tang Hao, Tang Chen, Tang Lan, and their allies fought Spirit Hall’s forces, destroyed Papal Hall, and forced Qian Daoliu to accept Tang Lan’s terms.
• Tang Lan negotiated for Spirit Hall’s branch halls, Soul Master records, and materials, while the Tang Sect and Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect departed Spirit City as allies.
• Tang Lan confronted Tang Xiao, rejected his apology for Clear Sky Sect’s treatment of Tang Hao, and later distributed Soul Bones among his companions.
• Tang Lan rescued Xue Beng from Qian Renxue, helped him become emperor, and secured Tang Sect control over the empire’s Soul Master education.
• Tang Lan traveled north with Tang San and the Shui sisters, where all four received the Ice God Nine Trials, though Tang San repeatedly failed to endure the first trial.
• Tang Lan returned to Spirit City and found Bibi Dong, Liu Erlong, and Yu Xiaogang at the rebuilt Papal Hall, then offered Liu Erlong a place in the Tang Sect or Yu Xiaogang’s death.
• Liu Erlong agreed to serve the Tang Sect, and Tang Lan secretly intensified her hatred before leaving her to attack Yu Xiaogang.

Tang Lan recruited Di Tian and the ferocious beasts to help develop Artificial Soul Rings while guiding his companions through the Sea God trials and distributing Soul Bones. The arc ended with the group advancing their trials and powers as Tang Lan refined Soul Rings that could carry human Soul Skills.

• Tang Lan earned Qian Daoliu’s method for making God-bestowed Soul Rings, trained in the Far North, and began the Sea God trial while Liu Erlong expanded Tang Sect Academy.
• Tang Lan brought Tang Chen, Bo Saixi, and Qian Daoliu to the Star Dou Great Forest, where he demonstrated his power to Di Tian and proposed testing Soul Spirit contracts and Soul Spirit Reclamation.
• Tang Lan demonstrated an Artificial Soul Ring to Di Tian, secured the Soul Beasts’ support and resources, and revived the Sky Dream Ice Silkworm to help with his research.
• Tang Lan distributed the recovered Soul Bones to his companions, while Tang San failed to absorb several and Zhao Wuji confessed his love for Liu Erlong.
• Tang Lan discovered the Water Dragon King and Fire Dragon King’s remains beneath the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, then helped his team test their Soul Bone abilities and pass the Ring Sea blockade.
• Bo Saixi began the year-long Tidal Body Refining trial, while Tang Lan divided his consciousness to research Artificial Soul Rings and used his Life Spirit Domain to help his companions withstand the waves.
• Di Tian delivered materials to Sea God Island, and Tang Lan produced high-age Artificial Soul Rings as his companions advanced their trials and absorbed new rings.
• Tang Lan infused an Artificial Soul Ring with Life Burial for Tang San, helped Jing Ling form his Giant Skeleton, and guided Oscar toward choosing a God-bestowed Soul Ring.

Tang Lan guided the Tang Sect through the Sect Ranking Competition, where its prodigies defeated several rival sects and Golden Crocodile was held to a draw. After the team chose Oscar over Tang San as commander, they began their battle against the Star Crown Sect.

• Dai Mubai completed his red-ringed Artificial Soul Ring, and Tang San and Oscar gained their Seventh Soul Rings as the group tested Oscar’s Erect Golden Fly and its stacked boosts.
• Tang Lan arranged the Sect Ranking Competition, where Ye Nishang’s Earth Three Sects defeated the Elephant Armor Sect and Tang Hao joined the Tang Sect forces against Spirit Hall.
• The Tang Sect prodigies fought Golden Crocodile, and Oscar used copied abilities and an incomplete Great Sumeru Hammer before Bibi Dong declared the battle a draw.
• Chen Xin and Gu Rong used their Martial Soul Fusion Skill to seriously injure Golden Crocodile, while the Tang Sect team defeated a Saint Dragon Sect elder before conceding its match.
• Oscar commanded the Tang Sect prodigies against the Body Sect, and Dai Mubai led them to victory over Kun Shan and his fighters.
• Yu Yuanzhen fought Golden Crocodile to an exhausted draw, after which Tang Lan returned the Tang Sect prodigies to Sea God Island.
• Tang San asked to command the next battle, but the team chose Oscar, who led them against the Star Crown Sect and helped defeat Meteor before Fallen Star’s forces trapped three of the team’s fighters.

Tang Lan led the sects through their ranking battles, then traveled to expose Spirit Hall’s campaign against the Tang Sect. The arc left him fighting Mighty Lion Douluo while turning the controlled Soul Masters against their commander.

• Tang San withdrew from the Tang Sect First Team after Tang Hao punished him, and Tang Lan brought Bai Chenxiang onto the team.
• Golden Crocodile fought Tang Xiao and the Clear Sky Sect, ending their battle in a draw after both sides exhausted their strength.
• Tang Lan’s grand melee established the Upper Three Sects, while the Lower Four Sects settled their rankings through sect-master battles.
• Tang Lan confronted Spirit Hall Platinum Bishop Hai Minglai over a staged attack meant to smear the Tang Sect, then had Chen Xuan kill him after he confessed Bibi Dong ordered the campaign.
• Tang Lan and Chen Xuan traveled to Tianlan City and Star Forest City, where Chen Xuan fought Spirit Hall agents and Tang Lan exposed their false accusations.
• Mighty Lion Douluo challenged Tang Lan, who endured his flames and shattered his Flame Avatar with the Sky-Breaking Hammer.
• Mighty Lion used Hundred Beasts Submission to control nearby Beast Spirit Soul Masters, but Tang Lan reversed the control and bound him with Dragon Grasping Hand.
