Background / History

Yun Yun is the Sect Master of the Yun Lan Sect, a major force based on Yun Lan Mountain near the Gama Empire’s capital. As its leader, she is attended by elders and Dou Wang experts, and her status carries considerable authority within the empire. 70 123

She entered the Magical Beast Mountain Range seeking a Purple Spirit Crystal from the Sixth-Order Amethyst Winged Lion King. After attempting to negotiate, she fought the beast using wind-attributed Dou Techniques but was wounded by its Amethyst Seal. 71

Xiao Chen found the unconscious Yun Yun after her escape and sheltered her in a cave. There, while recovering from her injuries and the Amethyst Seal, she used the name “Yun Zhi.” Their time together developed from initial hostility and guardedness into mutual trust, though Yun Yun initially demanded that their intimate encounter be treated as though it had never happened. 72 73 75

Later, Yun Yun was pursued by five Snake-People Tribe Dou Wangs. Although she wounded one with her swordsmanship and speed, their combined attack overwhelmed her until Xiao Chen intervened and escaped with her using Space Power. 100 101
