Looking at George and Jenny in front of him, Leo felt a twinge of shame.
It seemed he had once again disappeared without a word to George and Jenny, leaving them worried for an entire day and night.
He had seemed overly confident that he could resolve his troubles within a day.
After returning from the universe, he also seemed to have grown somewhat distant from George and Jenny. He seemed... seemed a little too proud.
Looking at the two family members before him, their eyes filled with boundless anticipation, Leo silently lowered his head.
"Uncle George, Aunt May, I'm sorry. This time..."
Before Leo could finish, George strode forward, opened his arms, and gently pulled Leo into a hug.
He also tucked little Peter, who was in Leo's arms, between them.
"Leo, you should apologize to Aunt May. Your leaving made her worry all day. But we will never blame you, because you're the person we love most."
George spoke in a deep voice, his words filled with heartfelt concern.
George patted Leo on the back, then released him.
He casually took Peter into his arms. His hands sank slightly under the weight, and his tone seemed to grow more relaxed.
"Well, Peter, I haven't held you in a long time. You've put on quite a bit of weight. Uncle can barely hold you now. Ho ho ho."
Peter's face flushed slightly. "No, I've grown a lot taller. I'm already twelve."
Then he leaned close to George's ear and whispered, "Uncle George, what did Brother Leo do wrong? He looks really sad."
"He went out to play without telling me or Aunt May. That makes adults worry, understand? It's wrong. So if you go out to play in the future, you must tell May. Don't make the adults worry
