Jane chased after him. "Where are you going?"

"Fifty miles west of here."

"Why?"

"To take back what belongs to me."

"You own a satellite?"

Thor did not slow his Footsteps. "It's not what they said it was."

"Whatever it is, the government seems to think it belongs to them. Are you planning to just walk over there and take it?"

Jane asked doubtfully from the side.

"Yes!" Thor turned back to look at Jane, smiling.

"If you drive me there now, I'll tell you everything you want to know."

"Everything?"

"Once I retrieve the hammer of the God of Thunder, Mjolnir, you'll have the answers you want."

Darcy and Dr. Erik came over. "Meow meow? What's meow meow?"

Dr. Erik frowned. Seeing that Jane seemed to have been drawn in by the tall, handsome Thor, he pulled her aside.

"Don't do this."

Jane argued back, "You saw it yesterday too. This isn't a coincidence. We need to know what's in that crater."

"I'm not talking about the crater. I'm talking about him." He glanced at Thor.

Jane said excitedly, "But he promised to give us answers."

"He's delusional. Listen to the things he's saying—Mjolnir, the God of Thunder, and the Bifrost. Those are stories I heard as a child."

"I'm just giving him a ride there, that's all." Jane continued to argue with a smile.

"He's dangerous, Jane."

Dr. Erik stared at Jane. He truly did not want his most prized student getting involved with this strange delusional man.

Seeing how resolute Dr. Erik was, Jane struggled inwardly. Though she had a favorable impression of Thor, Dr. Erik had truly always treated her well.

Leo walked up to Thor. "Thor, how many people do you think you can defeat with your current physique? You got knocked down in the hospital. Do you think you have any chance of getting near Mjolnir?"

"I am Thor. As long as I get close to my Mjolnir, I can regain my divine power. No one in Midgard can defeat me."

Thor knew his current condition as well, but he still had endless confidence in himself. He was the God of Thunder, Odin's son.

Watching Thor remain so arrogant, Leo smiled instead.

He stood before him, looking up at Thor, who was several dozen centimeters taller than him.

"How about a test of strength? If you win, I'll take you to where the meow meow hammer landed, and no one will stop you. What do you say?"

Thor looked at the little runt before him and laughed mockingly. "Even Hercules couldn't beat me at arm wrestling. You, a mortal child, want to compete with me in strength?"

Jane walked over at that moment. "I'm sorry, I can't drive you there."

Thor looked at Jane with a confident smile. "Then we part ways."

He took Jane's right hand and lightly kissed the back of it. Looking at the excited yet shy Jane, the frowning Dr. Erik, and Darcy, who was watching the show—

"Farewell."

Dr. Erik led the two girls, who were somewhat reluctant to leave Thor. "Come on, let's go back and continue working."

Leo looked at Thor and rolled up his sleeves.

"There aren't any horses here for you to ride. Want to give it a try? I can take you there."

Thor glanced at Leo and said with a smile, "Though you're only a child, I can still let you have a taste of defeat."

The two found a stone table by the roadside, and their large and small hands clasped together.

Thor did not seem to have considered the possibility of losing. After all, he had been winning for centuries without a single defeat.

He exerted a little force with his right hand, yet Leo's fair little arm did not budge. It was as though he had gripped a solid metal bar, impossible to bend.

Seeing the calm Leo across from him, he could not help increasing his strength.

With his Strength stat at twenty-two, Leo had already surpassed the limits of the human body. It could even be said that he had surpassed Captain America's Physical Fitness.

It was not a strength that Thor, with his powers sealed, could shake.

In the end, even after Thor used all his strength, he could not force Leo's small hand down.

Instead, Leo added a little more force and pressed Thor's large hand onto the stone table.

Thor released his grip weakly, feeling vexed. He had lost to a mortal child only because he had lost his divine power.

His eyes were somewhat vacant. In the past several centuries, this was the second time he had lost—the first being a few days ago, when he had charged into Jotunheim and fled because there were too many Frost Giants.

But he was not discouraged, because in Thor's mind, he had only become so weak because he had lost his divine power.

As long as he recovered Mjolnir, he would still be the greatest warrior of the Nine Realms, Odin's son, the God of Thunder.

Leo gauged Thor's strength. It did not exceed twenty points, which meant that even Captain America was stronger than Thor was right now.

He patted Thor on the shoulder. "Let's go. Jane and the others should come looking for us later."

Thor stood up as well. "Why?"

"Because Coulson is here?"

"Who is Coulson? And who is Cole?"

Looking at Thor, who had lived for fifteen hundred years yet was still so obtuse, Leo said, "He's with S.H.I.E.L.D. You'll get a chance to meet them. Come on."

Leo headed in the direction Dr. Erik had left, and Thor followed after him.

He did not think Leo was just an ordinary child. Thor always held a trace of respect for someone who had defeated him, and besides, he had no intention of running fifty miles on his own.

By the time Jane and the other two returned to their house, they found more than a dozen men in black carrying away all their research equipment, documents, and the gear from their vehicle.

Jane immediately rushed over, stopping one of them as she shouted, "You can't do this!"

Realizing that something was wrong, Dr. Erik grabbed Jane and said quietly, "Jane, this is more serious than you think. Let them do it."

"Let them? This is my life!" Jane said angrily.

Coulson walked over. As the overall commander of this operation, he faced the enraged Jane and said, "We're investigating a security threat and need to requisition your records and atmospheric observation data."

"'Requisition'? You're stealing."

Coulson took out a check and handed it to Jane. "This should compensate you for the inconvenience."

"You can't even buy replacement equipment at an electronics store. I made a lot of it myself."

Jane rushed to the trunk and snatched out a black notebook, saying furiously, "I'm sure you can make new ones."

"I'm also sure I can sue you for violating my private property."

Coulson looked at Jane. "I'm sorry, Miss Foster, but we're the good guys."

Seeing that Jane was about to get into an argument with the men in black, Dr. Erik pulled her back and made her calm down. There was simply no way they could fight these people.

Coulson took everything away, smiling at the three of them. "Thank you for your cooperation."

The three could only watch helplessly as Coulson and his people left.

The research room was empty. Every piece of equipment, every document, and every tool had been taken away.

The three sat on the second-floor platform, watching the sunset in a daze.

"Dr. Erik, are you all right?"

Leo arrived downstairs and called up to the three of them.
