"Leo, what have you been doing lately? Choosing a partner on Earth?"
Jason sat at the dining table and asked Leo directly.
"What? I don't quite understand what you mean." Leo frowned at Jason.
Jason was also slightly stunned. "Aren't you the strongest person on Earth? You unified a civilization. Not many people can accomplish that. I assume you're an adult by now, right? Don't you people choose multiple partners?"
Hearing this, Leo chuckled and shook his head.
"Where did you hear that rumor? I have no such plans. Besides, Earth's civilization hasn't been completely unified yet, and I won't interfere with that process. We'll just let things take their natural course."
"Really? But that's what the information on Earth says. Earth is a low-level civilization that hasn't even entered the era of interstellar travel, so it's protected by the Starlord Protection Law. You must be the strongest among them."
Jason ate a piece of synthetic meat in front of him and spoke casually.
"Based on that, isn't it normal for you to have multiple partners?"
"Your information must be from a hundred years ago. Earth is different now. Everything is progressing." Leo shrugged.
"What about you? Why did you take in Zhen? There seem to be very few Ai'yu tribespeople left nowadays."
Jason's eyes dimmed when he heard this.
"Ronan's massacre nearly wiped out the Ai'yu tribespeople. After that, we suffered an uprising on our own planet. There probably aren't many Ai'yu tribespeople still alive. If I can save one, I'll save one."
Jason's words were filled with endless sorrow and pain. For anyone, personally hearing the news that their own race was nearing extinction was an immense blow.
Leo had already learned about the grudge between Jason and Ronan while talking with Jason.
