"What just happened?! Have I been possessed? Oh my god, that feeling... I didn't sense it at all. This is terrifying!"
Scott looked at Leo, who had lowered his finger, and spoke in a panic. The feeling of his body being taken over completely by another consciousness without him even realizing it was truly horrifying.
Leo shrugged lightly. "Didn't I tell you before? Don't worry. There aren't any side effects. Once that portion of Mental Power is used up, it won't work anymore."
"Besides, as the consciousness within that Mental Power is depleted, the remaining unconscious Mental Power will replenish your mental source. It will do you quite a bit of good."
Leo explained this to Scott, who was still somewhat frightened.
"But... it's still terrifying. This ability is far too powerful. It can directly control another person's body."
Scott didn't dwell on it any longer. His strong psychological resilience had allowed him to recover quickly, especially since he had been mentally prepared for it.
But when he thought about suddenly waking up in the arms of Hank, the big-bearded man, he still spoke with lingering fear.
"Its limitations are enormous. Janet was able to do it because of her connection to the Quantum Realm. On Earth, she can't accomplish this. With her current Mental Power, she still can't leave her body and control someone else."
Leo smiled faintly and explained this as he looked at everyone's wary expressions.
"For her, this is also completely not worth the cost. With her Mental Power, even if she forcibly invaded someone at close range, she could only control them for three minutes at most before suffering a mental breakdown. Without the assistance of the Quantum Realm, she has no way to break through a normal human's Mental Defense so easily."
