Leo folded his arms and glanced at him, unable to stop himself from laughing. "What, are you very experienced?"

Walker chuckled and moved closer.

"Leo, I actually have quite a bit of experience. Come on, let me tell you all about it."

"Walker, what, are you trying to sit over here? Should I let you two share a desk?" Heck stepped over.

"Heh heh, it's fine, it's fine."

Seeing Heck's displeased expression, Walker gave an awkward laugh and returned to his seat.

Teacher Heck sat down instead. "Leo, aren't you going to tell me what just happened?"

"Karin got sick and went home to rest. Is there anything worth talking about?"

"What about Mike? There are still two minutes before class. Where did he go?" Heck looked at Leo as he spoke.

Leo gave a soft laugh. "Isis already told you, didn't she? Besides, isn't Mike back already?"

Mike had just pushed open the classroom door and entered. His complexion was terrible, and he glared hatefully at Leo in the back before returning to his seat.

The two lackeys behind him also came in with bruised and swollen faces, as if they had just been beaten badly.

Heck saw this and gave Leo a strange look before walking up to the lectern.

"All right, we'll begin the election for class monitor this period. Everyone can vote freely. Is anyone willing to come up and write their name on the blackboard?"

Not many volunteered. Mike, Walker, and Isis all went up and wrote down their names. As for everyone else, they seemed to know they had no chance and stayed put.

"Not bad. Three excellent candidates. After the last period, I think everyone should have a general understanding of them. Let's start with the first one and vote for the three candidates."

The students went up one by one to vote for a candidate. In the end, the votes were counted.

Mike: 10 votes, Walker: 11 votes, Isis: 7 votes.

Walker won the election by a narrow margin.

Seeing this result, Mike's resentment toward Leo grew even stronger.

If Leo hadn't caused trouble just now, I would definitely be class monitor. That damn bastard!

Walker, however, was rather happy. Although none of them truly cared about the petty gain of becoming class monitor, it sounded good for their reputation.

Besides, all of them were unwilling to admit defeat, so they were fighting over the title.

After school let out in the morning, Mike quickly left, while Walker sauntered over to Leo.

"Leo, that guy Mike isn't simple. Don't be fooled by the fact that his family only owns a dozen or so chain fast-food restaurants. His father seems to know people in the gangs. His influence in Queens isn't small, and even the police don't dare provoke him casually. You seem to be in trouble."

Walker sat down beside him and spoke with a smile.

"But I can help you. My dad has some connections with them too. I don't think they'll come looking for trouble over such a small matter." Walker looked at Leo with a sly grin.

"There is one condition. You have to teach me kung fu. When you grabbed Mike's wrist earlier, that was so cool!"

Leo took out his backpack. It was the first day, and there were no afternoon classes, so he could go home now.

He walked straight outside. "Walker, forget it. I'm not afraid of a little trouble."

"Hey, Leo, you'd better think carefully. This is the United States, and people have guns. No matter how good your kung fu is, it won't help," Walker shouted from behind.

Leo ignored him and walked straight out of the school.

He casually pulled out his glasses, which transformed into a headband and secured themselves around Leo's head. They were not only practical but also looked very cool.

"J.A.R.V.I.S., display the location," Leo said softly.

"Location confirmed. The target is near Columbia University in the Manhattan District."

J.A.R.V.I.S.'s stiff, measured voice rang out, seeming less lively than before.

At the same time, a real-time route map appeared on the glasses.

The map of the entire New York City also appeared, with the red dot of the locating device marked on it.

Leo looked at the display on the map, a trace of doubt rising in his heart.

Strange. Karin lives on Manhattan Island, which is a famous wealthy district. But there are so many high schools and universities in the Manhattan District. Why did she go through all that trouble to attend school in the chaotic Queens, across district lines?

"There's even the East River between them. If that's the case, it wouldn't be very realistic for Karin to ride a bicycle here, would it?"

So what was Karin hiding?

Leo took off his glasses and put them back in his backpack.

A group of unfriendly-looking people was approaching in the distance, seemingly targeting him.

More than a dozen people were holding clubs. Several muscular men were already wearing tank tops even though spring had only just begun, and many of the others wore hats and had bodies covered in tattoos. They clearly weren't good people.

Leo changed direction and walked toward a more secluded area.

When the group behind him saw this, they also changed direction and followed, openly and without the slightest attempt to hide it.

Some passersby nearby also noticed what was happening, but few were willing to meddle. They all moved away as much as possible.

Leo strode ahead while the group behind him followed at a leisurely pace.

But gradually, Leo's expression grew increasingly grim.

They had just passed several secluded, deserted places that were perfect for a robbery, yet those people still hadn't attacked. They continued trailing behind him.

The smile that had originally been on Leo's face faded, and his eyes gradually narrowed.

Looks like they're trying to find out where I live!

Queens was a diverse district, with many Asian faces and the famous Flushing, a Chinese community where many Chinese people lived.

Chinese shops were even scattered throughout that area. The first time Leo came here, he felt as if he had returned to China.

Thus, Leo's appearance here did not attract any strange looks.

Leo planned to walk three more blocks. If the group behind him still didn't make a move,

then he would strike first!

After walking a few more steps, a hand suddenly reached out from beside Leo and grabbed him.

A small figure pulled Leo into a run, accompanied by a clear, bright female voice. "Don't talk. Come with me!"

Leo ran along with her, and the two of them quickly disappeared down the street.

The group that had been trailing behind them immediately erupted into a commotion and started running as well.

"Catch up! Don't lose them!"

Mike, who had been following at the back of the group with a gloomy expression, looked even worse. Seeing everyone charge forward, he stopped in his tracks.

"F**K, the school didn't have his records. Otherwise, we wouldn't have had to go through all this trouble. Damn Asian. I'm definitely going to teach you a good lesson."

He got directly into a black sedan nearby, and the Black man in the driver's seat turned around and said,

"Mike, it's just some little kid. Do we really need this many people? The police have been watching that latest shipment very closely. Your father won't want anything to go wrong."

"What are you afraid of? His parents are just two ordinary office workers. It wouldn't matter even if we killed them all. He actually dared to make me lose face like that today. I have to beat him up and vent my anger."

His voice was low and deep, completely unlike the sunny, handsome image he displayed at school.

Mike shook his wrist. Although it was already fine, he still couldn't swallow his anger, and a vicious glint flashed through his eyes.
