At night, a luxury car pulled up downstairs at Avengers Tower. A graceful figure carrying a meal stepped out, followed by a chubby man.
"Is he still upstairs?"
"Yes. Tony hasn't gone out in a long time. He's living upstairs now. He hasn't thrown any parties and has been cooped up in his room alone. I don't know what he's thinking about. I feel like he may be showing early signs of depression."
Happy said this while looking at Miss Pepper.
Happy was no longer Tony Stark's driver. He had gloriously become the head of security at Stark Industries, responsible for ensuring the company's safety and possessing considerable authority. It was clear just how much Stark trusted Happy.
Although Pepper really didn't want to deal with him, the two of them were currently in the middle of a cold war after a fight.
Pepper also knew that a blunt man like Stark would never send Happy to look for her, much less make any other kind of apology.
That was why she knew Happy was lying as soon as she asked him about it. Only after pressing him further did Happy manage to lure her over with that excuse.
Although Pepper was still in the middle of a cold war with Stark, after hearing about his condition, she still put aside the mountain of work in her hands and hurried over without hesitation.
