Looking at the Arc Reactor that had been carefully packaged and placed in his hands, Tony's lips curled upward.

He placed it on the table.

Leo wanted to go over and take a look. Even though he already knew what it was, he still couldn't control his curiosity.

Tony turned around and pointed at Leo. "Don't damage it. You can have that sports car, but don't break this!"

"Don't worry!"

Looking at the Arc Reactor, which held considerable sentimental value, Leo was reminded of the final scene in Avengers: Endgame and fell into a daze.

After a while, he put it back where it belonged. He glanced at Tony, who was sitting in front of the computer, and smiled helplessly. The current him isn't that him yet, but one day, he will become him.

Several thousand kilometers away, in Afghanistan, a few bearded warriors were piecing together fragments of the Mark I that they had dug out of the desert.

Holding several blueprints Tony had left behind, they spent several days facing hundreds of fragments.

They had finally pieced together a rough human shape, but quite a few tiny parts still had no obvious place.

Standing beside them was a burly bald man with a cigarette between his fingers. The burns on the right side of his head had already scabbed over.
