A streak of Golden Light instantly swept through the mountain forest. In the great mountain several kilometers from the edge of the city, Leo finally came to a stop atop the mountain.
Traces of human habitation could still be seen nearby, but Leo paid them little mind. Once he had stopped, he moved both hands, and the Golden Light around him flared brightly.
A pair of enormous wings suddenly unfurled behind him.
The wings spread into colossal luminous wings nearly eight meters across, sparkling with brilliant energy.
To outsiders, the fluctuations of Spatial Energy made their shape impossible to discern. The wings seemed to sway endlessly through space, trailing behind them layers of illusory energy shadows.
Leo looked at his wings,
then reached forward with his right hand and grasped at empty air.
Leo's brows drew together slightly.
The Space Stone embedded in the wings behind Leo actually began to dim little by little.
Yet in the palm of Leo's hand,
a glimmer suddenly flashed, and the Space Stone appeared in his right hand.
This was the most powerful source of energy on Leo's body. Yet even after being consumed by Leo—the Energy Black Hole—to such a terrifying degree, the Space Stone in his hand still showed no sign of dimming.
As the Space Stone was removed from the wings behind Leo, the Spatial Energy surging from the wings gradually stabilized.
After all, with this source of infinite energy gone, Leo's rate of energy absorption naturally decreased as well.
Looking at the Space Stone floating unsupported in the air, Leo moved his right hand through space. Threads of blue energy began condensing before him.
At his wrist, the power of the Power Stone gradually began to glow purple. Working with the azure Spatial Energy, it slowly solidified in the air.
