Whiplash Is Dead

A lash of electromagnetic whip cracked toward them, forcing both men to avoid taking it head-on and split apart.

Rhodey brought all the firepower on his armor to bear and began firing frantically at Whiplash's armor.

Ivan was incredibly agile. He lashed out, slicing through the six barrels of the M134 heavy machine gun in one stroke. The severed ends were charred black, and the immense power left Rhodey stunned.

Ivan swung his flexible whips at Tony, who had just taken off. But he had only risen a few meters before he was yanked back down.

The massive rotary force slammed the Mark VI into a boulder, shattering it.

A flurry of flickering appeared across Tony's virtual panel. It was the impact of the electromagnetic shock flow from the whips on the armor.

When Ivan's attention shifted to Rhodey, the eight grenade launchers on the Mark VI's right arm rose up.

Eight small grenades shot toward the armor wielding the whips.

The mechanically driven force pulled one whip back around, blowing four of the grenades apart. Two others were knocked off course.

Only two struck Whiplash's armor. The violent explosions left large cracks across his abdominal armor, accompanied by Ivan's muffled grunt.

The whips moved even faster, wrapping around Rhodey's neck. As Ivan increased the output, the current visibly intensified.

Tony charged forward, trying to knock Whiplash away.

Ivan turned and wrapped a whip around the Mark VI again. By then, he had both men entangled.

Rhodey used the momentum to ram into him, knocking Whiplash off balance.

But Whiplash drove his head into him and sent him flying back. Tony took the opportunity to break free, firing two Pulse Cannons.

The blasts staggered Whiplash, but his hands did not stop. The rapid-fire machine guns on his wrists opened fire
